It’s a monster fic but so good that I swallowed it in one sitting. It was worth it!

Here we have human world with Helloween (not really, it’s called Night Hunt) every two weeks with this difference that Hell part is way too real in it’s hellfire and running demons glory, In the daily life only some people can notice connections between demons’ and human’s realms. They are Tamers - the ones who can bound demon to themselves and turn it into some kind of their private warrior on deman. But on this one special day, well, night, everyone can noticed opening of Hell’s gate with Hellfire busting on the streets and demons roaming outside people’s homes which are only places can give sense of safety at the times like this.

We are introduced to the world through Baekhyun’s eyes. He’s a Tamer-to-be and Night Hunt it’s a time when he can find his demon to bond. Of course, nothing can be too easy especially if he is halfling, right? The only halfling in the whole world. Nor ha can bound himself to some lowely demon. Yeah, he gets himself... a prince. Prince Sehun, one of the most powerful beaings in the Hell realm. So now romcom, fluffiness and cutness cue? No, nowhere in Hell (pun intended!).

This story is dark, with moments of gore. Baekhyun is struggling with his mixed blood - he is holding to his human self with all he have when all people [and demons] around him tells him that he belongs to the Hell. 

It’s a wonderful journey of Baekhyun getting to know and acctepting himself, with loves and friendships blooming around in the dark, dark world where nothing is black and white.
