It’s daffy season, the end of it anyway! So I thought I’d make some daffodil flower essence since daffodils are among the poisonous plants. Daffodils contain lycorine, which is dangerous to animals and can cause nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting in humans. As a flower essence they are safe to take. Daffodils are the first signs of new life in spring. They illuminate the darkness. They help to bring clarity and shed new light. Daffodils help us find our inner voice and learn how to use it, and they facilitate self-reflection. Daffodils have six outer petals in the shape of a hexagram which helps to integrate energy and bring us out of shock. I think we could all use some daffodil essence after last year!
