Saturday Soliloquy: Update

I went to see the surgeon who replaced my knees 20 years ago. He was duly impressed that they’ve lasted this long 🙂 He did say that sometimes the plastic deteriorates inside the appliance, and that can’t be detected in an xray. The xrays showed no deterioration. The swelling and stiffness had improved since I made the appointment 2-3 weeks earlier. The fact this is the second this has happened in…

I love daffodils! We still have three in the garden in flower.

I took a nap to give me enough energy to go outside and plant daffodil bulbs, which will give me enough energy to actually do some writing today instead of laying around feeling slightly sorry for myself.
