Dahyun and Momo have liked each other throughout their high school years. Now that they’re in college, Dahyun feels more confident about talking to Momo about her feelings.
It was a regular Monday, and Momo was in the library checking out some books, humming quietly to herself. She felt her phone buzz—it was from Dahyun.
Dubu: Heyy, want to meet up?
Momo: I'd love to! I'm actually in the library right now if you want to head over here. Maybe we can grab a meal after?
Dubu: Sure! I'm on my way!✌️
Momo smiled as she put her phone away, adjusting her glasses. She had always had a feeling that Dahyun might have a crush on her, but she was never able to prove it, so she stayed quiet about it throughout high school.
She sat down on the floor, glancing over the different books before picking out a few and beginning to read, humming softly to herself.
Dahyun was on her way to the library, listening to her music.
“Do you think she knows..?” Dahyun mumbled to herself, fidgeting with her fingers. She shook her head, brushing off the thought. Eventually, she reached the library, walked inside, and looked around, trying to find Momo.
As she walked, she noticed a black-haired girl sitting on the floor with glasses. Smiling to herself, she stepped closer. “Is this seat taken?”
Momo looked up at her and smiled. “Actually… I don’t think so. I was waiting for someone.”
Dahyun chuckled. “Do I know this someone?” she asked as she sat down next to her.
“Hmm… I think you do,” Momo replied, meeting her eyes.
Dahyun felt her cheeks heat up. She giggled softly, then glanced at the book Momo was reading.
“Whatcha got there?” she asked.
Momo shrugged. “Just some book I found. I’m trying to get more into sci-fi and… I suppose romance books.”
Dahyun giggled. “Hmm… romance books, you say?”
Momo gave her a playful shove. “Yah! Look, at least I’m trying to get into them,” she pouted.
Dahyun chuckled, shaking her head. “Whatever you say, Momo.”
After about half an hour, they finally left the library. Momo had borrowed two books, carrying them in her hands. Dahyun turned to her, smiling lightly.
“So, what are you in the mood for?”
Momo thought for a moment, stopping in her tracks. “How about we grab ramen?” she asked with a smile.
Dahyun nodded, and as they continued walking, they left campus and headed toward their nearest ramen spot.
Two hours later, Momo and Dahyun were walking back to Momo's house. Momo opens the door and walks inside, Dahyun walks in behind her.
"This place hasn't changed at all momoringg" Dahuyn says, Momo giggles, "Well you know my mom, she's not big on change."
Dahyun nods, "What should we do?" Momo bites her lip, thinking to herself "We can watch a movie in my room."
Dahyun smiles, nodding. They began making their way to Momo's room, once they reached her room Dahyun sits on her bed, removing her shoes as Momo closes the door.
She stares at Dahyun for a moment, her heart beating fast.
She felt as if it was going to pop out of her chest. She brushes away her thoughts and sits down next to Dahyun, "Do you have a movie in mind?" She asks, Dahyun thinks for a moment then shakes her head. Momo giggles softly, "That's alright. I'll just find one."
Dahyun nods before clearing her throat, "Momo?"
"Hm?"
"I-I.. need to tell you something." she mumbled, looking at her.
"What is it?" Her voice softer now.
She takes a deep breath, moving closer, their hands touching.
"I've always had a crush on you, since high school.. I was always so scared to tell you because I didn't want to ruin our friendship, or be a burden to you! it's just something that's always on my mind.." Dahyun blurs out, continuing her rant, as Momo watches closely.
"And I understand if you don't feel the same! so I just wanted to get this whole thing over with, And I understand as well if you don't want to be f-"
Momo cuts her off by kissing her, Dahyun's eyes widen, feeling a rush of warmth full throughout her body, her cheeks warmed. She deepens the kiss.
Their kiss was slow and passionate, not rushed. Gentle and loving, this made Dahyun feel overjoyed. Momo's stomach flips as she wraps her arms around her waist, pulling her close.
Dahyun mirrors the motion, but wraps her arms around Momo's neck, eventually they pull away, both out of breath, their cheeks pink.
Dahyun felt her heart racing.
'did I actually just kiss my crush? ' She thought, her face still pink.
Momo giggled, letting out a breath, "Sorry if I caught you off guard.." she blushed.
Dahyun shook her head, "Aish.. it's okay, I liked it.." she mumbled, causing Momo's ears to perk up, she gave Dahyun a teasing smirk.
"So..? you enjoyed me kissing you?" She teases more, testing her limits.
"I- What?!" Dahyun was caught off guard by the question. She hesitated, her face turning red.
Momo laughs, falling back onto her bed.
Dahyun blinks, flustered, then punches her playfully. "Yah!"
Momo calms down, letting out a breath, suddenly pulling Dahyun down onto the bed she giggles then looks at Momo.
"Would it be a bad time to say that I want to kiss you again?" Momo spoke softly, putting a piece of Dahyun's hair behind her ear.
"No.. I'd actually like that, I enjoyed kissing you. Even if it was for a short moment." Dahyun replies softly, leaning in. Momo does the same, their lips touching slightly before Dahyun pulls Momo in for another kiss.
Their second kiss felt better than the first one, Momo wanted more, but was unsure if it would push Dahyun away, so she decided to test the waters, her hands go lower towards Dahyun's ass, her fingers brushing over her back pockets, her grip on the girl's ass was gentle, she decides to go further, she lightly squeezes her ass earning a small gasp from Dahyun.
