I have beef with a 56 year old man
We have a walking challenge at work for most steps of the month. I’m in the lead.
He shows no steps.
He won last season.
I think for a moment this season, he’s opted out. I am wrong.
At 10:49 pm he adds his steps.
Almost 18k.
I’m at 10k and some change.
Midnight is the deadline.
I can’t let this happen.
My legs are jelly. I am exhausted.
I have 18k steps… plus 11.
If I am dead by December, it’s because of him.
Today was fine :)
- went on a walk
- turned in an assignment
- tended to my plants
- did my skincare
- rewatched an arcane ep.
- answered an email
- washed my hair
- a meal :/
Celebrate victories and achievements, no matter how small or big they are! In the beginning of 2024, I made a goal to be more active and to increase my step count. I started with almost 1k to 2k steps and now I'm at 5 to 7k steps. This may not seem like much to people that are already active, but for me, it was a huge step towards my goal since I lack physical activity/movement. So I just want to tell yall, no matter how small a victory, enjoy it! Celebrate it and use it to not only get more motivated but disciplined as well.
