The Sunken Hum Broadcast 55 - Searching for a Lost Mitten in the Deep Dark Woods - 24 February 2013 One of my mittens is always trying to steal away from me. Bad mitten! I was out for a walk through the deep dark wood and noticed suddenly that I had gone ahead but my mitten had strayed. So I retreated my steps through branches and over barbed wire fences. This is the 55th Broadcast of The Sunken Hum, my daily sound diary for 2013.

The Sunken Hum Broadcast 29 - Collecting and Chopping Wood Over the Squeltchy Ground

I followed Willie as he went out to collect up some wood from the woodshed and chop it for the fire. It has rained and rained and rained lately so the ground is muck and mud and squelches as you walk across it.

Beside the place where we chop wood there is an old empty keg and the wood keeps flying into it and making a metal dink noise.
