Evolution of my Frank-N-Furter cosplay!

This next section is before I got my hair cut, so I was having wig issues. Excuse that, please.

And now, post haircut without as many wig issues. This is the last con I went to over the past weekend. I got to walk around and help my friends work their booth. More pictures will be posted/added as I find them or people find me to send them to me.

Willy Wonka was the first serious attempt at cosplay I ever made. We’ve had a good run, Mr. Wonka and I, but it’s been two years so I think it’s time I retire him. Before I do I wanted to get some photos first. These were taken at Daisho Con 2016 by PTP Cosplay Photography. (It was Sunday so all I really remember about this shoot is that I was sleepy. So, so very sleepy.)

People always ask if my Wonka hair is my real hair so allow me to share with you the secret to Gene Wilder drag: It’s a wig from @ardawigs, a Bucky in Sandy Brown which I shortened, thinned a bit (I probably could have thinned it even more, tbh), and curled.

Speaking of me cosplaying Padme, I realized that I never posted any pics of my packing gown! I definitely plan to re-do at least the skirt and vest with better fabrics (much trash bag, very purple, wow), but I’m still pretty damn proud of how this first go-round all came together considering the budget and time constraints I inflicted upon myself.

Squirrel Girl photoshoot from Daisho Con 2016! Much tail, very fluff! We managed to get outside while it was still in the 70′s, two hours later the temperature had dropped to near-freezing.

Sailor Troopers at Daisho Con last month! Well, sort of. Sailor Clones? Our usual Rex decided she wanted to make a Sailor Boba Fett, so her beau got promoted to Captain. I meanwhile didn’t notice until too late that my helmet antenna didn’t make it to the con with me. I found it at home later, but the poor 212th had terrible wifi all weekend.
