Curious/Specter, Day 20, Part 4
Katherine: So are you my grandpa, or not?
Homer: I'm not, but I'm happy if you want to call me Grandpa Homer. Your mum and my Mary were as close as sisters when they were little girls - still are, actually.
Penny: This is a lovely party.
Osiris: Except for the fighting.
Penny: Yeah, well, Vid's always been a bit... like that. And I'm sure Valentine's not innocent either...
I think Daisy's room still needs a bit more deco, but I like how it's looking.
Maia: ... and tomorrow morning Shelly and I are going to make pancakes with Papa for breakfast!
Penny: Sounds like you're having a great time.
Maia: Yeah... I'm happy I've got two houses because I love them both!
Penny: Goodnight, sweetheart. See you tomorrow after school.
So I saved around the end of the last post, then came back to the game today to finish the party and the rest of the day. The party finished off smoothly, I got everyone to bed, the game was on triple speed... and then I saw a pop up saying something like "Tycho is too hot - cool him down or you'll get a visit from the social worker". I paused the game as soon as I saw it, but by that time the social worker was already pulling up - and all four kids had disappeared from the sidebar. No thanks!
So I quit without saving, and started to have a look at Tycho's room, because I noticed he got hot earlier when he was napping too. Turns out when I extended the upper floor to give him a bedroom up there, I never put a roof on that new bit!
Anyway, the second time around, Katherine got her actual grandpa (rather than the honorary one) to swing her around but I still didn't get a picture of it, and Val and Vid let their earlier fight be sufficient and didn't start another one.
