January 8 2018 | shoutout to @cmpsbls for this background that motivated me to get things done today!! 🕊💫 check out my studygram: neurogirlstudies 🕊 i follow back !!
(11/02/2018) hope everyone is well!! second semester began a week ago and i am already so done with it. plus, course selection for gr 11 is coming up and im getting more and more anxious. pictured above: math notes for my quiz on tuesday, stationery, my holy grail moisturizer (just bc it fit the color scheme lmao) and a speaker for jams!
(🎶 otd: September rose - cailin russo)
Sleepover: I found out I pulled my history average up from a 90 to a 98! I’m really happy! Also I’m super excited for tmwr bc Hanukkah starts and I love latkes.
Hey congrats!! I’m really proud of you. I’m also super excited for it!! I hope I get some time to celebrate because it’s right on top of exams this year :’) I want to make my own latkes this time!!!
Reflect and emerge for the ask game! 💜
sorry it took me so long to answer this!!
reflect: what are 3 things you have accomplished this year that you are proud of?
i got into the high school of my dreams through working realllly hard for a solid year and a half
i started this studyblr, which filled my life with more positivity, and i think that was really good for my mental health and work ethic too
i focused a lot more on my chinese studies, which i’m really proud of. i worked a lot more on my chinese school homework, and i started getting really into c-dramas (which have emotionally wrecked me lmao)
emerge: describe an experience this year that caused you to mature.
i go to china every other summer to visit family, and i went to an international camp in the jiangsu province this time. i hadn’t been there before, and it was also my first time away from my family and home for such a long time. it helped me with becoming more independent, though part of my independence also came from starting high school.
new years’ asks!!
Connect n memorize for the ask game 🌿💜
thanks for asking!!! (also i love ur icon!!!)
connect: who is someone new you met this year that you wouldn’t be the same without? hmm…i guess my table group in culinary arts class? they’re all v funny and supportive and they’re a year older than me so they’re pretty good at giving advice, whether it’s abt dating or college apps
memorize: describe in detail the happiest day you’ve had this year.ooh!!! okay so there was this rainy day in november and it was a minimum (shortened) school day for us, and me and my two best friends went to a doughnut shop and starbucks and it was raining super hard so basically heaven for me!!! and i basically got drenched (again ideal!!! bc i love rain so much!!!) and we were just chilling and then we all went home on the bus with our siblings and just chilled. and then when i got home my hair dried and it looked super cute and curly and then!!! i got a message from my crush and i listened to my happy music playlist on spotify!!!!!! it was a really great day!!!!
send me one of these asks?
2, 3, 8 n 13 for the ask game !
2. What female celebrity do you wish was your sister?
probably zendaya because holy shit she is so kickass and i look up to her a loooottt
3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother?
wouldn’t my life be so much funnier if danny pudi were in my life lmao
8. How many oceans have you swam in?
1 swim in the pacific ocean + a couple seas too! the adriatic was probably my favorite…
13. What’s the worst grade you got on a test?
BROOOO it still haunts my nightmares which is pretty sad and means that i have chill, like big time– it was *whispers* a 67. Which was fair i guess, since it was 7th grade and i hadn’t studied the night before and it was fractions which was my worst unit HA
thanks for the ask, em!! oouhhh and + thanks for following @pervirrens !! you’re my first follower lolll so thank youuu
