this has been a massive labor of love of mine over the last year, and a first in a few ways: my first ever animatic, and my first ever anniversary gift for someone special! this was supposed to be done this valentines (our actual anniversary date), but college and limitations in skill held me back 💔 still, i pushed through!

i wanted to push myself and see what i was capable of, and i figured the best opportunity to do so was out of genuine joy for crafting something wonderful for my partner. and so, here it is!

there are several little quirks i'd love to fix, but i think this is more than good enough for now ^^ i've also just wanted an excuse to make a can't sleep love animatic since almost a decade ago! why would i ever pass up this opportunity!? ･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆

ive been wondering abt the vriska drawing in that one college pamphlet btw., did they ask you if they can use it or did you specifically draw it for that or what

a few years ago i took a summer course for this college and for one assignment, we had to do an illustration of a morally-gray character that we liked and i ended up drawing vriska. fast-forward to the end of the course and the other students and i were given the option to allow the college to use the art we made while taking the course for their promotional material. i agreed bc i was cool with it and i figured nothing i made would get chosen anyways. you can see how that turned out
