ORKS! (Blitzappa’s WAAAGH!)
Da Beast
#orktober we meet again. I've not touched a paintbrush in... Well, far too long. Hopefully the old adage of "half painted models are twice as easy to finish" proves true, and these additions can bring me close to 2000 points! #paintingwarhammer #citadelcolour #dakkajet #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammer40000 #warhammer40kpainting #ork #orks #miggywoznamemanglas (at Wakefield) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRUPOp2nsB4/?utm_medium=tumblr
AirfOrks
I can’t wait to add the Eavy Bommer to this! A plane with tank tracks? Deal! 😬
Just kind of eyeballing it, but that looks about the same scale as Adeptus Titanicus to my eye.
The orks take to the sky
Continuing with my Aeronautica models, I painted the ork dakkajets. I have wanted to try a light yellow and dark red color scheme for ages, and this was a good time to try it out. I think it worked really well, and I look forward to trying it on a proper army.
Below are pictures of the three models. First alone and then engaged with the Thunderbolts.
We interrupt your regular scheduled imperial-posting to remind you this is an ork blog that hasn’t done anything orky in a while. Imma fix that. Only distraction will be finishing titanicus, then it’s reveling in orktober for months
Red Deff
The magnum opus of Big Mek Garsnak Zardakka before he decided to retire to a more relaxing life of stuffing gretchin into Killa Kans, the Red Deff is perhaps the finest piece of orkish engineering Reapa Skwadron has ever fielded. Crammed with more raw engine power than half of its squadronmates combined and laden with more ordnance than even an Ork would think sensible, it is rumoured that Zardakka couldn't figure out if he wanted his last bommer to be a Dakkajet, a Blitza-Bommer, or a Burna-Bommer - so he just made it all three. Entrusted to the skwadron kommanda's finest second in command (read: least likely to run off with it to Krusha Skwadron), the Red Deff is sure to leave its own mark in history - a bright red, very noisy mark, followed by a cloud of acrid black exhaust smoke.
