As an April Fools' joke this year, I did the same thing that I did last year with Kingdomblade, where I did my best to mimic their style in a drawing and then have them post it to see if anyone notices (partially fueled by me being confused as the artist of Beyond the Western Deep a few times)! This was the result of me copying @kobbers's style, with me specifically drawing their character, Dakkan. :3
I'd say it was a success! After she posted it on her page, there were zero skeptical comments questioning whether she drew it. :D
Click here to see the comic I did last year in Kingdomblade's style! Headshots I drew of Dak while I was practicing her style are also available on my Patreon.

Summary:
A/N: chatting with Aerion about The Odin and Elohim being pissed about the fallout from the first Girls Night. I didn’t have long to write so this is just something that was me tossing words at a page.
It was quiet on Neamh. No mead flowed, no jokes made, no banter was exchanged between friends. The great Meade hall was transformed into a courtroom of sorts. At the front of the hall sat the tribunal. In front of the tribunal, off to the left or the right sat the parties that brought the grievance and those defending against the grievance.
Under normal circumstances, Neamh would not be a suitable location for such a gathering. But this was not a normal circumstance.
“We’ve gathered to hear the grievance of Neamh against the Justicars of Limbo.” Malcanthet’s dulcet tones carried to the assembled crowd. “The Odin brings charges of undue hardship and strife at the hands of the justicars. His accusations are supported by Elohim."
All 13 justicars turned baleful glares at the Odin and King of Heaven. The Odin stood and addressed the tribunal.
"Honored Tribunal, I believe the evidence will show Neamh has suffered greatly from the Justicars imprudent moratorium of our most esteemed patrons.”
“What?” Orion stood with enough force he pushed the bench back. “We’re wasting the time of the ruling four because you want Sadie, Vad, and Aerion to come drinking?"
"Esteemed Justicar,” The Odin continued, never raising his voice, “Neamh has suffered greatly since your over hasty declaration that they be permanently removed from the premises.”
“Oh please,” Orion drawled gearing up for another outburst before Hideyoshi pulled him back to his seat and hissed something into his ear.
“Honored members of the Tribunal, Neamh has lost visitors from every plane since their banning!” The Odin continued, “Dionysus asks after them prior to deciding if he will return and, I hesitate to mention but Enki himself has not returned to the plane since the last party."
Enki muffled a cough and Dakkan gave him a side-eyed glare.
Hideyoshi, being one of the only justicars not smirking, frowning or muffling laughter, stood and faced the tribunal. "Honored members, of the Tribunal, Limbo acknowledges and understands Neamh’s concerns. The decision was made to ensure the safety of a long lost Archangel, the ruler of Nephilim, and our Princess. While I would prefer not to return to darker times, if we recall, there was a planar war where Limbo stood alone. Not long after, Limbo stood against the council itself for a time. Certainly, you could understand our reticence in leaving them unattended.”
“Are you saying Neamh is unsafe?” Elohim scoffed.
“With all due respect King,” Hideyoshi turned, half bowed to Elohim, and turned a Mitsuhide worthy smile on him. “The ladies were attacked in Eden. If the Kingdom of Heaven is unsafe, surely you can understand our concern.”
Elohim frowned at the memory.
“But we’ve been remiss My lords and Queen, what grievance does Heaven, the plane that has known Limbo’s protection not once, but twice, have with the justicars."
Elohim mumbled something under his breath.
"I’m sorry King, I missed that. Could you repeat it?” Hideyoshi’s saccharine tone drew a glare from the King of Heaven.
“I don’t have anyone to drink with.”
Aerion’s bark of laughter and Sadie’s giggle were undercut by Orion’s groan of frustration.
Mitsuhide stood, his smooth motions drawing everyone’s attention and causing the room to go silent. “If drinking partners is what we are missing, esteemed and honored guests, perhaps we can come to an accord.
His cheshire grin is wide as he started negotiations.
Squeaked out an art outside of comic pages before the end of the year. I want to practice digital painting more so I can actually get decent/faster at it. So, here’s Dakkan (with a slightly animation-y design tweak, to support more realistic/3D rendering).
Just got back from my little vacation and I really missed a lot despite being afk for a couple of days. Been doing some warm up small drawings after getting back today. I’m really hyped for my copy of Tales of Berseria and listening to it’s soundtrack isn’t helping much for the wait :U
I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to make Beyond the Western Deep fanart.
I wanted to make a nice fluffy piece featuring the two protagonists Quin and Dak to contrast with their current predicament in the comics. I always imagined Dak would be super interested and awed by Quin’s drawings.
This sketch is for Kobb, with her character Dakkan going back to his Redwall roots and enjoying some shrimp ‘n’ hotroot soup for the first time in years. :3
