We End Round One in Northeney with our First Wedding!

Here is the wedding album for Wendy and Christian's impromptu wedding! Honestly, I'd probably have taken them before returning to Northeney even if they hadn't gotten married early through SP on their own. You all know how much I love posing wedding albums and family pictures for my sims. Enjoy!

Ugh...I was going to build a room around them for better lighting in the outdoors, but then I realized if I put the wall down in the photo room I'd probably lose the wall of the Church behind them...Outdoor pictures...still not my forte!

Trying to get pictures of everyone facing the front as it's not easy to get them all at once with the particular combination of poses I chose. I still like the overall outcome!

And I was just noticing the tattoo on Dalma's wrist! I'll have to go back through my screenshots because I've been so embarrassingly behind on my uploads that I honestly don't remember her visiting the tattoo parlor to get one! Maybe the base sim I used to make her had one?? Anyway, it suits her!

And of course the beautiful bride alone and in thought!

I will be planning to work more on Pickerling Cove over the next several weeks and as always my personal life is super crazy, however, I do have half of round 4 in Redwood Harbor ready to queue up so that's where we are headed next! I have my sims made and placed for the last three worlds in the masterlist, it's just a matter of having time to begin...and stay away from my other playthroughs LOL! I'm already anxious to get back to all the worlds we've played through so far! I am planning to take family portraits of each playthrough we've gone through to help remind everyone of where we left off, unfortunately I didn't think of that before starting back at Redwood Harbor so the family portraits will have to come at the end of round 4 as there are MANY changes!

Gettin Stuff Done!

Day four is here already! Kay set straight to work caring for the pets, but Diedra got Larry out to play before heading straight back to bed. And Renee took it easy starting her day with computer games.

She and Kay discussed their plans for the day. They look so similar I kind of have in my head that they're cousins so I may change their family relationship in Master Controller.

Anyway, Kay wants a gardening book and Renee wants to learn a science skill so I'm sending both of them out for the day!

Oh look! Dalma has earned a promotion!

Kay enjoyed her afternoon in the park. Just look at Lao York! The last time I saw him he was the tiniest puppy!

But I should have sent Renee to that class a little earlier because it overlapped with her shift at work and she'll still have to run from the science lab to the caravan!

You may remember that I placed the SN teleport stations around town, but my sims haven't really chosen to use them autonomously so I'm thinking that next round I'll either build hidden basement lots or add basements to some existing community lots to place down subway stations instead. I love the quaint, quiet feeling of the roadless map, but for sims who live on the edges of the map like this household, it can really impact their jobs.

As for Diedra, she is back up and reading the newspaper back home, but she rolled the want to visit the Art Barn and she's off today, so I sent her across the island to hone her artistic skills! Or, as she preferred, just play with the little lizard that keeps escaping her inventory...facepalm.

I didn't send you all the way over here for nothing, now get sculpting! Wow! That is an enormous hunk of clay you've got there!

Uh oh...the moon is on the rise and it looks to be full! Time to start sending everyone home!

Good job Diedra, but you've got the furthest to travel and the other girls already have a head start. How about we call it a night and continue that sculpture another time.

Or just stand there sending insulting texts to nearly every male sim in rotation LOL!...facepalm!

Both Renee and Kay have made it home safely and I've double checked the gate so the garden SHOULD be safe.

But Diedra has a very dark and eerie walk home ahead of her!

Oh no! The washer is leaking from all the laundry they've been doing! Hopefully it's just overloaded and doesn't need repair!

Diedra managed to make it home safely, but it started raining on her way back so she's drenched! I sent her to take a bath before bed to warm up, I don't want her to get sick!

With everyone settled back in, I decided to see what it was that Diedra was working on so hard. A life-sized statue of Sim David! I'm impressed honestly!

Into the Night

While Renee was in the fishing class I spied on the other sims at the grocery store. Oh look! Maurice is there! After dreaming about marriage, Renee also rolled the want to move in with him, this couldn't be more perfect!

OMG! He actually came over to talk to her on his own! They are so cute!

Just a little PDA BEHIND the bar counter...facepalm...

Drama! I heard fighting and discovered Dalma and Raul on the verge of a brawl! Then I heard flirting and searched around to see who it was...

O...M...G...What in the actual...Christian! You literally just got married this morning! And Sherita!? Really!? Your brand new bride's former roommate!? Oh gosh I really hope this was some kind of random Sims being Sims thing AND I really hope Bryon didn't notice...All we need is the rumor mill to start churning!

I'd had enough of that situation so I checked in on Kay who'd just finished a gardening class at the Science Lab. And what was she up to? Sabotaging their equipment of course! Hard facepalm! I mean she IS a technophobe and she DOES work as a criminal, but still!

Diedra had no interest in hanging out in town or sabotaging machines after the Art Class I'd sent her to. She was starving! So starving she didn't seem to care about eating next to Renee's dirty plate and nearly choked to death on her dinner! At this rate, I'm just glad she made Autumn Salad...no oven required...

Bahaha! Thank's Maurice! I love these random tidbits my sims throw at me sometimes! X)

Why Can't These Sims Just Play Nice!

So, Christian was starving when he woke up and started to make waffles...but then was mysteriously whisked away I'm guessing by SP...

To the Nectary this time! Dude! Don't you think you had enough to drink last night before crashing repeatedly into the cliffs!? Well, on the bright side at least you left your half-baked breakfast on the counter and not baking in an unattended oven!

So I've gathered... X)

Greeeaatt! See where that got you! Maurice is still in bed dreaming of turkey legs and you're paying homage to the porcelain god. Meanwhile you've got guests on the way over for a Spooky Day Feast! This is going to go over well...facepalm...

Nice! Dalma brought the chocolate gnomes, while the others brought some yummy ratatouille and other impressive dishes! Of course, the guys invited their significant others. Wendy brought along roomie Sherita, but Renee (who still doesn't like Christian) dumped off a plate of waffles and was out the door before Maurice even got the chance to greet her!

Thankfully, he caught her before she got too far. I decided to send them off on their own date while the party continued.

Of course they chose the Nectary, LOL!

Meanwhile the party seems to be going well!

OMG!!! I spoke too soon!!! Really Joline, really!? Tanisha and Dalma were completely unphased...must really be a regular occurrence at home.

Wait...whaaat?? Why is Christian humiliated? Who was fighting with him!? Gosh I hope it wasn't Wendy!

Oh no! These two have been besties from the beginning!

Christian! What in the Heck! You're lucky Wendy already went home Mister!

Well, at least everyone had a decent time...maybe they really just enjoy constantly fighting with each other...LOL! And Yay! Raul's pup has reached adulthood!

Maurice is finally home after his date with Renee. If you only knew the drama you missed, Sir!

Ending on a High Note

It's a beautiful morning and I can't help feeling this will be a good day for the guys!

O...M...G...I know you can't tell it by this picture, but I swear! That mailman was totally wolf whistling or something at Wendy out as she walked by!

Maurice caught up on videos and town news before heading to work. LOL! There must not be much going on if the birth of the kittens made it in!

After work, Christian invited Wendy over and wasted no time getting all hot and heavy, but I realized they knew absolutely NOTHING about each other!

There you go! You two have been together a WHILE now, you better at least learn what her career is! Facepalm.

We have some town notifications! Heeeyy...that engagement gives me an idea! Christian, unlike Maurice has rolled the want to at least move in with Wendy so...maybe I'll press my...err...his luck. I just have to wait until they get out of that shower...wink wink...

Oh yay!! She said Yes!! Congratulations!

What an ending to my week with this household!

Why!!??

So...I was wrong...Not only did neither of the guys put the fire out...they both rushed out the door for work the next morning and left it STILL burning!

Nooooo!!!! And I just put those flowers from Felisha there too! At least they have a smoke detector and at least I could send poor little Smokey outside! But it's going to take the firefighters a while to get there.. All I could do was sit there and watch their home burn knowing full well they don't have the money to repair or replace anything.

Sims who were close enough came running to the inferno, but they couldn't do much besides freak out!

Well at least the food Derick brought in to school as an opportunity was helpful, but I have to wonder if he even knows his entire house is burning to the ground.

Ugh...it's not much, but we'll take every little bit we get.

Both Micah and Derick were understandably upset, but they handled the situation differently. Micah wrote a love letter to Felisha...maybe he's telling her that his feelings literally set the house on fire LOL!

And Derick? He went downtown and to spend the night playing for tips. They're more destitute than ever at this point and the weekly bills came this morning!

I let the guys do their thing and caught up on town notifications.

You guys! Tomorrow is my last day with this household this rotation! Even if their paychecks cover bills, there won't be enough to last them long. I sure hope nothing gets repossessed while I'm gone!

Who's the Boss?

The sun is rising on our last day of summer for this rotation!

Dalma ran down to the salon and I tried to get a good close up of her, but I SWEAR EVERY time I hit the button she'd suddenly make some weird expression like she somehow knew I was watching LOL! So anyway, enjoy...this... X)

Felisha completed an opportunity for work before going back to "work hard".

Jolene also completed a work opportunity.

But Tanisha spent the day just chillin in the specimen closet and it earned her a raise!!?? How is that fair!?

Even Felisha looks a little dumbfounded by it! Sorry girl, what can I say, Life's Not Fair, and you have a different boss. Just go read your logic book, you'll earn a raise or promotion soon enough.

Alright! Jolene earned a raise, immediately followed by a promotion!

But where's Dalma?

Back to Milton's STILL trying to clear that buggy job! Ugh...I knew I should have just sent her to do a new one instead of try again at this...

Back home, Tanisha's OCD had her checking all the appliances again before all the girls got ready for bed. All except Dalma that is.

Alright! It's super late, but he told you to wait there and he's on his way home from work again finally...maybe that reset yesterday messed it up? Maybe it was because he was late for work? This time there's NO way he's going to ignore finishing this out so you can get the job experience and paycheck...There's no where for him to go...

Except bed...outside...the old bed I didn't want to delete so I could place it in his inventory...Well played Milton...Well played...

A Job Undone

Understandably, the girls all slept as long as possible so Majora occupied herself with playing in the toilet and scratching on her post.

While Tanisha and Felisha rushed off to work at the last minute, Jolene took in another curiously invisible performance...ugh...I REALLY have to find out what is going on with that...facepalm...

Dalma, for her part, got called to create a teenage sanctuary for Milton?? Uhh...Are you planning on adopting a teen or something Milton? Because you live in a tiny one-bedroom cottage and there ARE no teens in the playthrough yet, at least none that aren't townies! Whatever, She's going to try her best anyway.

Of course, this profession being buggy whenever it wants to--at least in my game it always has been--She waited most of the day for him to return home with me having to reset him and requeue the turn in job action. Just look at everyone going about their lives while Dalma sits out at Milton's house...unable to turn in her job and get paid...

Eventually, he ran off to work...again without JUST completing her job for her despite the fact he was literally reset to his own home and she was right there! Grr...I decided to send her home.

Disappointing, but at least she's not desperate for money like Micah and Derick.

It was so late by the time she got home, the only one up was Jolene...There to make fun of Dalma's painting and considering how neat all these girls are I'm guessing she left the enormous hairball for Tanisha out of spite. So much for my hopes of roommate bonding. None of these girls really likes each other.
