Woot woot! We're finally on to the beautiful world of Northeney by the ever talented @nornities! This gameplay has been completed for literally close to a year! That's how behind I've gotten with filling my queue due to...you know...real life! Anyway, as I sit with a new little furry and purry friend at my feet (a bday present for my kiddo) I am finally ready to load up a few days of gameplay!
We start with my a screenshot while I was creating households. I HATED randomizing this already awesome looking dude, but I already had all my slider numbers rolled so, Milton, you may have wound up looking a little less like Sir Elton John, but you're still a pretty awesome looking Sim! You'll see him in a bit :)
I spent most of the first day as I usually do, placing my newly created households so my simmies just got right to their lives while the hours ticked by! Here we have Anton Clary and Nicholas York, two of our first sims to follow.
Namesake, Marco Bauman spent the day brooding around town.
The WHOLE day! Facepalm!
Meanwhile, we've already got households splitting up and rivalries forming!
I finished up my first official day in Northeney with an AWESOME lightening storm and this weird notification...I started with a fresh population, who got run out of town?? I better go check that it wasn't any of my sims!
So...I was wrong...Not only did neither of the guys put the fire out...they both rushed out the door for work the next morning and left it STILL burning!
Nooooo!!!! And I just put those flowers from Felisha there too! At least they have a smoke detector and at least I could send poor little Smokey outside! But it's going to take the firefighters a while to get there.. All I could do was sit there and watch their home burn knowing full well they don't have the money to repair or replace anything.
Sims who were close enough came running to the inferno, but they couldn't do much besides freak out!
Well at least the food Derick brought in to school as an opportunity was helpful, but I have to wonder if he even knows his entire house is burning to the ground.
Ugh...it's not much, but we'll take every little bit we get.
Both Micah and Derick were understandably upset, but they handled the situation differently. Micah wrote a love letter to Felisha...maybe he's telling her that his feelings literally set the house on fire LOL!
And Derick? He went downtown and to spend the night playing for tips. They're more destitute than ever at this point and the weekly bills came this morning!
I let the guys do their thing and caught up on town notifications.
You guys! Tomorrow is my last day with this household this rotation! Even if their paychecks cover bills, there won't be enough to last them long. I sure hope nothing gets repossessed while I'm gone!
Alright! The girls seem to have let their differences lay...at least for now. The bubble machine is going, the bartender is serving and the guests are arriving! And who is that playing DJ? Why it's Jolene, in an uncharacteristic playful mood!
Sims gathered downstairs to dance and upstairs to watch the pianist!
And everyone was having a good time...until they weren't.
Hmm...Christian and Renee don't seem to get along well, I wonder how that affects both their relationships with Maurice considering Christian is his roomie and Renee has been his girlfriend since the first week of the playthrough!
Guess I can't escape all the drama! Eventually, Christian left, but other than that this party seems to be going off pretty well!
Despite the fact several sims hate each other, this was a chill party! No brawls anyway, and even an impromptu ghost story!
Awesome indeed! Like I said, I have a feeling Tanisha is going to be known as the hostess with the mostest here in Northeney!
Tanisha and Majora slept in the next morning. Thankfully, all four girls are pretty neat so there aren't a lot of dishes and clothes piles lying around. Nobody wanted to eat those charcoal waffles though! LOL!
Eventually, Tanisha woke up and did some reading while Felisha entered robot mode and Jolene was forced to practice the bass after breaking the TV.

I sent her to the grocery store to buy a lotto ticket and she ran into Anton. They started chatting of course and decided to group up to bowl!

Tanisha called up Marco to chat, worried about literally everything, got into an argument with Jolene and made some Stink Juice at the Chemistry Lab I bought for them! When I got a notification...

I'd call that a successful end to day 2! Even if there was one itsy bitsy fight between Jolene and Tanisha.
Okay, this first picture was technically at the very end of my time with Micah and Derick, but I saw it was Tanisha Poindexter at the theater in the middle of the night and thought...I'll put it with her seeing as her household is up next! Let me tell you, in Northeney the households either get along or they don't...there is no in between! And it seems the ones who get along the best also seem to struggle the most financially...so any guesses on what this week has in store? More fighting or more strife?
Two of Tanisha's roommates, Dalma and Jolene...I don't know WHAT is up with the sleepwear in this house LOL! I didn't pick it, but anyway, there is one more roommate, Felisha (Micah's girlfriend) and Tanisha's adorable cat Majora to round out the household!

Also, these two have decided to go steady! It stands to reason, they live next door to each other on the edge of the map so I doubt they get too many visitors.
It's the first day of summer and a Saturday and with all this love in the air, I thought what a perfect day for the four girls to meet up for a quadruple date at the beach! Tanisha couldn't get her mind off of the fireplace though. No...theirs is not lit, but considering what happened to Micah and Derick's house the other day, I can't say I blame her!
Okay, all the girls except Jolene (who's taking her sweet time for some reason) are arriving!
Looks like Micah is first to arrive! And Jolene! If you don't hurry, you're going to have to skip the party and head to work!
Welp...Can't say I didn't warn you!
Eventually, Anton (Dalma's boyfriend), Marco (Tanisha's boyfriend) and Nicholas (Jolene's boyfriend) all showed up and everyone had a good time relaxing, roasting marshmallows and swimming! Better luck next time Jolene!
