February 15th is International Angelman Awareness Day. Angelman syndrome isn’t well known, but it is a very complex disorder. . . I had never heard of it before till I met my #IRun4 buddy, Bryson. Getting to meet him last year after over a year of running for him, was a definite highlight to my 2018 race season. . . His struggles and his hardships, as well as the care his family has put into his daily life, have made me really appreciate all the gifts I have received as well. He makes me want to do my best always, with no excuses.
