Okay, I was being good and not complaining about fusion bombs wouldn’t disrupt a planet’s magnetosphere (we have those things and we know what they do, and any theoretical disruption to a planet’s magnetic sphere would rectify itself definitely after a few decades because the planet’s still spinning) because I get the point that the story is trying to build atmosphere and bring up specifically that they’re on their own... And then the show has the characters using a perfectly working scope to track another character. !!!
