All day Stefan had been on the phone going
back and forth with the people that he was buying
a house from. He hadn’t told Dean just yet, wanting
to wait until everything was settled and final, but he
had planned on moving all three of them out of the
boarding house. For one he had his brother and the
rest of the gang coming in and out of it all the time,
which meant anyone could come in and that wasn’t
safe for the baby. The house they were going to in-
habit needed to have that seal that blocks vampires
from coming in unless invited to. He was so close
to sealing the deal the first time Dean came in; and
that’s when he asked for another hour, which turned
into three, but he had finally managed to get the house.
When he heard Dean, he shut the book that had everything
in it and he stood up immediately with a wide smile on his
face.
"Yep. I’m ready this time."
He scrolled over to Dean, taking their baby girl into his arms.
"Let’s put this cutie to bed."
He smiled at Dean, leaning in and giving him a peck on his lips
Dean hummed as their little girl was taken from his arms, eyes narrowing slightly. He knew his mate was up to something, but he was unable to place quite what. And hell, even if he was able to take a minute to come up here on his own and find out, Stefan would be there in a blink to stop him.
"Mm. Okay, well, the bath tub is set up in the bathroom. She needs a bath. Then i'll feed her. I'm gonna hit the hay when she's gone down."
It wasn't like they could have her settled in her nursery after that. As it was, they'd planned to turn one of the spare rooms into one. However, with the rest of the inhabitants of Mystic Falls coming into the house whenever they damned felt like, at all hours of the day and night, they found it just wasn't going to be plausible. Setting her into a routine would just become too disturbed.
Leading the way out of Stefan's study, he made the way to their bathroom, where the baby bath tub was waiting on the work surface.
"Nice and warm for my little princess.".
