THEY’RE NOT SILLY they feel so organic and great because people usually depict bruce as a Quiet Young Man who wears button downs and drinks tea and i’m like NO HE WAS INTO GRUNGE AND SMOKED TOO MUCH

oh my god where have you been all my life??? YES. he hung out in awful record stores and tried to learn absolutely everything about music in a very short space of time after moving to college and wore battered doc martens and got into too many fights and religiously avoided alcohol but probably tried everything else and doodled on the sleeves of his labcoat when he got bored and had every piece of his college's merchandise ever because he was so proud and so happy to be in a community of intellectuals (or basically anywhere that wasn't a children's home tbh)

well, part of my job was to go on forums and look at article comments and look up fan reactions to stuff that got released- trailers, pictures, etc- and i think they knew it was gonna be rough initially

aaaaahhhhhh yeah. this was at a time when I was actually not involved in fandom in anyway, so I didn't know it was so rough at first, but I can definitely understand why a lot of people would've had the same reaction as me. but hey! it turned out faaaantastically!
