Also people are very one track minded. My friends still give me shit about letting a stranger basically get away with not paying rent for 8 months, and for a hot minute convinced me to be mad to. But in reality his bills were greater then mine and life as a 31 year old without insurance or stability demands a bit of slack.
I wish I could go back and apologized for the times I did snap at him (even tho some of them were warranted like never doing his cats litter. Not for me but for the poor animal)
I hope as least some people who have fucked you over apologized.
Yeah, I've helped out friends as much as I could, when I could, only for them to turn on me when it was convenient. Only at certain times have I been unable to pay rent. When I was asked to leave the Haunted Mansion it was because I was cleaning too much and complaining about how no one was taking care of things, and my friends judged me based on racial stereotypes and thought I was stealing money and abusing my dog when no one was looking. They didn't believe I was paying Max's share of the bills as well as my own, I was also providing most of the food and paying for repairs to the house. I had less things than anyone else at the time, and put everything into my friends and the house while everyone else bought toys and clothes for themselves. When I left in frustration, they stole my old dog. She used to be really sweet and friendly like every dog I've trained, now she spends most of her life in a cage and she's antisocial and aggressive as fuck (she still loved me though!) When I visited a year ago to pick up the rest of my things, quite a few items were intentionally destroyed or stolen. They admitted they misjudged me and shouldn't have kicked me out, but I can't really imagine being friends with them the same way again.
Otherwise no one who fucked me over ever genuinely apologized or tried to make it better. And there are quite a few, lmao. Racists like JJ Floyd, Jackie Davies, and Dan Brewer think I deserve to be stolen from and mistreated, they'll never apologize cause I'm not a human being to them.
