I can't even dream that someone would love me.
it's going to take so much self-love to restore my heart from vicious hatred but
if only one person on earth was strong enough to do this, it's me.
it's me, dammit.
I am love. I am eternal. I am indomitable.
I am like water. All things returning, all things swiftly pulled under-asunder, all storms, all sands! Ísland black, basalt erupting - Whitehaven's velvet fit for the Queen.
I speak of Atoms, and we imagine The Splitting!
first thought, western thought.
I am atomic. Molecules are not lost.
Chaos is life. Entropy is living.
ancient electrons is a great title for an album.
TOMAHAWK (vol. 1) #86 (June, 1963). Cover by Bob Brown.
He's not King Kong, he's King Colosso! You can tell the difference because Colosso is purple (although he is colored brown on the interior pages).
I haven't read this issue, so I don't know if the characters even know what a gorilla is. The Tomahawk series was set during the Revolutionary War (1775-1783), whereas gorillas were not officially "discovered" until the mid-1800s.
Great British Bake-off 2023
Just watch the finale of this year’s Great British Bake-off. (SPOILERS!) The thing about the British Bake-Off is that by the end, all the contestants are deserving to win. That’s why I like the show… no villains.
Josh - He’s certainly one of the best bakers. He generally has a pleasant but bland expression. So it’s been hard to feel I know him. On Day One he was in the lead. But even without being able to taste his show stopper, the design of his cake looked childish.
Dan - Dan has been my favorite all season. He has a great smile and comes across as a great guy. But on Day One he had a rocky start. His Day Two wasn’t great either. He’s always been too ambitious. The problem with that is there are more things to go wrong AND more things to be judged on. (It was a big mistake to add the macaroons to his final cake.)
Matty - I’ve liked Matty too. He’s always been self effacing. Even tho he came into the finale the same number of wins and handshakes as the others, he gave the impression of coming from behind. But he knocked it out with his final cake. I thought it was cute when he described how his girlfriend taught him how to paint the cake. And except for the tilt, his cake looked the best. Well deserved to win!

Strangers In Between @ Trafalgar Studios 2
REVIEW | Strangers In Between at Trafalgar Studios 2
The King’s Head Theatre concludes their West End season with Tommy Murphy’s three-hander play Strangers In Between. Set in Australia, the play is about Shane who has fled his hometown to leave his troubled family behind. Adam Spreadbury-Maher, the artistic director of the King’s Head Theatre, has directed an excellent coming of age comedy about growing up and being a gay man in Australia. Roly…
