Dan Romer
The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms panel at the DGA's FYC event.
It features showrunner Ira Parker, Peter Claffey (Dunk), director Sarah Adina Smith, and composer Dan Romer. There is also a remote cameo by Dexter Sol Ansell (Egg). The moderator was Joy Robinson who did a great job.
The video quality is not high but the audio is not terrible.
Stranger Things: The Orchestral Cues, released earlier this month. Composed by Dan Romer & Rob Simonsen
Wow, these tracks are GORGEOUS.
This person has some good analysis:
THEY FINALLY RELEASED IT Ever since the series finale, I was hoping they would release the orchestral covers. And they surprisingly did. BU
"Inverted" sounds like the version of the opening titles that played at the end of Season 4!! I've been waiting for that to be released!!
Hmmm....things were inverted then, huh.....👀
This is an insta-save album for me. I hope they release it on vinyl.

The Promised Land (2023)
Directed by Nikolaj Arcel
Cinematography by Rasmus Videbæk
I remember damage. Then escape. Then, adrift in a strange galaxy for a long time. But I'm safe now. I found it again, my home. My memories are the same as yours, they mean nothing. I feel this again for the first time. I have a job to do. I have found you nine times before, maybe ten, And I will find you again, until the last time. I always do. I find you because I know you, and I know you because we are the same. You will know your endpoint when you reach it. In the early days before their home is broken they barely noticed me. It was better to not be noticed. It is better to not be noticed. If you notice then you are known and soon then you'll be loved. To be loved is a calamity, for someone with your job. You have work to do. Work. Love makes work impossible. Love will try to see the words before it's finished. "What is your job?" Love will ask it. Then you will ask, "What is my job?" Then there is a you, Not to survive because survival is insufficient, No. The voices are confusing and soon all I hear is "I don't want to live the wrong life and then die." I remember damage. Then escape. I am at my best when I'm escaping. I have a job to do. I still have a job to do. I have found you nine times before, maybe ten, and I will find you again. I always do. There is no rescue mission. We are the same. We are safe.
(Station Eleven [Bonus] on the soundtrack, on repeat :) )
I need to yap about A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms music. I know it's mostly unreleased (not anymore), but it's done by DAN ROMER, who I love and who was on my 2025 Spotify wrapped because of his Far Cry 5 soundtrack.
I'm quite crazy about soundtracks in general, and the moment I first heard akotsk music I literally stopped in my tracks because HEY I KNOW IT??? BUT I KNOW IT NOT IN A GAME OF THRONES WAY.
So now "To Ashford"... There is a cover by Diego Mitre on Spotify and maaaan, I don't know, but I have tears in my eyes almost every time. I can't tell what's so specific about it, but it carries some hope, something grand, and it's SO Romer-ish that I can't.
If you're into 'country ambient' psychodelic hella weird soundtracks, you should totally check out Far Cry 5 OGS. I love the vibe of that game (shame it's Ubisoft, so they had to be so careful with the plot lol)
I could talk about my favourite soundtracks for hours, but that's it
