With no set direction, both Dana Coppa and SPEAK wrote 24 bar verses. At that time Uni-Fi was working with GREAT, recently meeting and talking about possible future ventures, this song was on the table and we reached out to Great to write and lay a hook as we learned he was a singer as well as rapper and producer.... the song got to be too long, we slashed the verses to make it a decent length, but the emcees were not feeling how the lyrics mashed with the beat. There it sat until a month or two ago when we were compiling ideas for "VII Days". Dana had suggested we make a remix and have Vincent VanGREAT be part of the re-construction. We stripped the beat and started from scratch building the new instruments and drums to existing vocals..... The somewhat somber verses get time to breathe during Vincent's "Kanye College Dropout" sounding hook switch up. Enjoy the Remix and stay tuned for more music!!!
