Dance!Sans can beatbox and he uses it to make situation appropriate sounds. It annoys papyrus almost as much as puns.

More handwriting headcanons, but this time it’s for various Papyruses!

Obviously there are more Papyruses that exist, these are just the main ones that came to mind first :P

Font names and reasoning under the cut:

Papyrus: Papyrus (because…. c’mon. we all know why)

Stretch: bRee (he gets lowercase letters because he’s a sleepy guy, and the only reason the Ts look a little sharp is because he was probably thinking about Smart Guy Shit again)

Edge: COLORS OF AUTUMN (upper case letters because loud, and sharp like his personality)

Crooks: kindergarden (his letters are big but not all caps because he’s lost some of the spark that would’ve otherwise made him more like OG Paps, and his handwriting is a little wibbly wobbly because head trauma impairs your motor skills sometimes, making it hard to keep your hand movements, or even just regular movements, smooth and steady)

Mutt: alanis hand (he gets lower case and small because he’s another sleepy guy with no confidence)

Charm (UL Paps): Bigdey Demo (dude gets fancy halfway cursive handwriting because he’s a fancy boy. being fancy and stylish is his whole thing, and he adds little hearts in sometimes if he’s in a particularly good mood)

Jupiter (OT Paps): PIGMENTDEMO (personality wise, I just feel like he’d be very similar to OG Paps, and they probably have a lot of the same habits and things, which could easily carry over into their writing. Their handwriting is similar, but still visually different at the end of the day)

Tango (DT Paps): Rock Salt (big letters and all caps here because he’s a louder, more outgoing guy, and even if he’s not super confident 24/7, that’s still the image that he likes to display to others, so they get the impression that he’s the most confident man on the planet. His handwriting is also a bit fancy in its own way, which kinda reflects his whole thing with dancing)

Phantom (DT Paps): Coffee House (ominous looking, sharp, and all caps, because he is literally the creepy dude who tells Dust to maim people and be homicidal. Sometimes he uses lower case, but when he’s especially worked up about something, he goes back to his all caps ways)

Cider (FT Paps): A Hundred Miles (his letters aren’t the biggest, but he still uses all caps. It’s nice looking, if a little on the messy side sometimes because he does so much with his hands on the farm, and they’re probably sore by the time he finishes)

Grim (RT Paps): Silent Reaction (all caps cursive is a nightmare to look at, and he’s been around long enough that he’s painfully aware of that, so he’s brought it down a few notches and uses proper capitalization. He’s had centuries to make his handwriting nice and neat, and while he does like making it look nice, he’s often more concerned about getting all of his work done. Little bonus is that he unintentionally makes the dot above the i look kinda like a candle flame)

Dancetale AU Headcanons 2.0

So about a year ago I made a post about all the dancetale type universes and my headcanons for them. But I saw that post again the other day and decided that post was kinda inaccurate so I decided to revamp them and give the skels more depth and varied dances uwu.

Dancetale Sans

No surprise here, Sans dances hip hop! Not usually breakdancing or b-boying (though yes, he will do those occasionally) because... have you seen all those power moves those have? They take so much energy and wooork OTL. Sans ain’t really about working hard, even though he is significantly more open to moving than his classic counterpart. So he usually just sticks to (what he considers) easier (which... probably aren’t actually easier asdfghj) hip hop dances like this!

Dancetale Paps 

Also not a surprise, Papyrus does latin dances, more specifically the cha cha and the salsa! Specifically, salsas like this are his favorite. And it’s not unheard of for Papyrus to do that “walks on air thing” he did after his canon fight, while he’s dancing! It only makes it even more fun, and don’t worry; he’ll make sure you’re safe and secure in his arms while you two dance on thin air~

Danceswap Sans

In contrast to the above dance bros, Blue does neither latin nor hip hop. Instead, his soul calls out to a dance just as energetic as him, that being swing dancing! Both the classic old swing (like this) from the 30s and 40s, and the newer electroswing dances. 

He also sometimes does roller skating dancing, too! Much like in this video at 2:06, he’s very adept at dancing in skates, expertly performing his main dance in them as well. Better have good balance and fast feet when ya dance with him.

Danceswap Papyrus

This boi’s not really into “official” dances, as he calls it. Honey crafted his own dance style: Meme Dances! (Really, could you expect anything else from the dude who Flossed to pay respects whenever Undyne’s house burnt down) His bro is consistently exasperated in his choice of dance, but supports him nonetheless.  Default dancing, the orange justice, Hammertime, the Macarena, and these are just a few of the dances in his arsenal.

Dancefell Sans

Red is just an edgier Sans, so of course his dance style would be the edgier style of hip hop dancing as well! More specifically, he specializes in breakdancing/b-boying! (Although rarely cuz he is still very lazy.) Flip-floppin, high-flyin’ powermoves and all. Kinda like in this! It’s also often accompanied with popping, locking, and breaking, the perfect cherry on his dance sundae.

Dancefell Papyrus

Similar to Papyrus, Edge does latin dancing too! His favorite dance being a bullfighting dance just as dramatic as he is: the Paso Doble! It’s always an intimidating sight to see: the boi, half shirtless, angrily whipping his partner around in circles, frequently in midair much like Pap. Though, since he often dances with his enemies, he is... slightly less likely to keep as tight a hold on them as Pap is. Don’t worry, though, he’s sure you won’t drop... And if you do, but somehow stick the landing on your feet, then you’ve only gained even more of his respect.

Danceswapfell Papyrus

Rus is actually kinda internet popular for his dances! On his youtube channel (which goes by the name of (p)Elvis, for the record), he posts dance covers of his favorite songs, which has gained him quite the decently-sized following. As shown in this video around :47-1:02, his chosen dance style is 50s Elvis Era Rock & Roll! The bois practically a greaser, honestly, with that style. 

He also does kpop-inspired dance covers to various vocaloid/utaite/anime songs on his channel as well, similar to this video. Sometimes he even does both styles in one video! It’s truly astounding how he manages to seamlessly fuse both dance styles into one dance and one video, and that’s exactly the sort of talent that gained him his following in the first place.

Danceswapfell Sans 

Black struggled for a long time to figure out just what dance he preferred, but eventually he realized his true passion lied in Figure Skating!  It’s perfect for him: elegant, disciplined, balanced, incredibly flashy. Growing up in Snowdin, he’d frequently sneak away to the many ice rinks in the forest to practice. 

And in his spare time, he’s also picked up pole dancing! The non-stripper kind though, with most of his clothes on and very high heels. His dances are very much like this video, with equal levels of dramatics and epic music. And in both dance styles, he’s equally as intimidating as he is majestic~

2 years ago, I did a dance animation like this with Swap Sans. Now I finally finish the dance version of Swap Papyrus.

This has been lying in my archive for so long that I finally got around to finishing it. Alrighty onto the next one.
