I'm 100% certain that you've never been trained in ballet. My bet is on jazz. Or modern dances in general.
And which evidence do you provide? What did you base your deduction assumption on?

I’m convinced that John has always known how to dance and only wanted an excuse to hold/touch Sherlock
Hey, I saw you talking about John weird noises, and I would like to bring a few points. I also kept thinking about it, and for more strange that it is sounds I dont think is fake. Funny thing is, I was watching the Hobbit today, and when he was pulled against his will to the ponei he made the same "moo" noise (but shorter and not so angry). Perhaps is not grief, perhaps he is being forced to do something, this something being lying to Sherlock and make him believe that he is angry at him.
It is definitely off in my opinion, because he never does that. I don’t like Hobbit, I don’t even think Martin did a good job in the film and he is a fantastic actor. The noises in tst should sound realistic because that’s the kind of noise that comes out of people in situations like that (believe me, I know). But they sound fake because John as a character never does that. He chokes up, he is quiet and can barely breathe.
All I want is for a scene where John realizes how much Sherlock has loved him all these years and we have a flashback scene of the moments of proof (WALTZ TUTORING SCENE PLEASE) ugh. Do you know if this any fan art of a scene where Sherlock and John are practicing the waltz together??
I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!! We need this like air! And honestly, all the angst, misunderstandings and lost opportunities MUST be leading up to an epiphany/love declaration…I have to believe this or go crazy ;-)
And OMG there are so many gorgeous dancing art/gifs out there! Here’s just a few I found and adore:

“Dirty Dancing” Johnlock AU
just a concept but what about a Johnlock AU inspired in the dirty dancing movie, you know, likeSherlock as the super hot mysterious dance teacher at a summer camping, and John the son off a rich doctor, who is forced to go on holiday with his family to this camping where he meets Sherlock and they dance together and-

The day after their first kiss, John snuck out quietly in the morning to buy fresh bread and came back to Frank Sinatra’s “I’ve got you under my skin” playing on full volume in the sitting room. Sherlock couldn’t have heard John climbing up the stairs over the loud music and thanks to that, John opened the door to see oblivious Sherlock dancing. Not slow dancing, but tap-dancing, swing dancing or whatever it was that John would associate with the way Sinatra danced. Sherlock jumped on the coffee table, spun around and landed in front of dumbfounded John standing in the doorway. Sherlock’s expression went from happy to mortified as he blushed and ran to turn the music off. It was the most adorable thing that John had ever seen in his life.
