So I started Rejuv with 0 context. "Oh Maria is cute, will I play as her? Time skip or something?"

Looked at the family portrait and went, "Oh, no, I am definitely not with a dad like that."

Initially thought this was “ship that pisses you off” and had an entire rant about my biggest NOTP from anything ever typed up (I’ll post that if someone asks for it).

Most misunderstood ship. Hmm. this is kinda tough to answer because I avoid fandom and it’s bullshit so I don’t really know what general fan interpretations there are for the ships I ship.

I thought about this for a good while and I guess...F/M Chrobin? I’ve seen my fair share of stuff about their supports being bad (which...yeah, in comparison to M!Robin’s support with Chrom, F!Robin’s is kinda...uhhh...) but they have such a touching relationship in the story that I see that as a moot point.

Yuto and/or Yuya: vegetable

Yuya grunted, yanking the carrot out of the ground with both hands.  The motion threw him off balance, and he yelped as he fell back on his butt, nearly crushing a cabbage. 

Yuto glanced at him reproachfully, a basket tucked under his arm and sweat beading beneath his bangs, pushed down by the wide brimmed hat Yoko had foisted on him.

“Are you trying to make this take longer than it should?” he asked.

“Yuto, if you’re hot, you don’t have to keep working,” Yuya pointed out, tossing the freed carrot into his own basket.  “Things don’t need to be finished getting picked today.”

Yuto harumphed – he looked pretty miserable, but he also had that hard, stoic look he always had on when he was determined to do something.

“This is only the least I can do to help after your mother let me stay for so long,” he said, crouching down to begin stripping strawberries from their bushes.  “Besides, it will be nice to have fresh vegetables in the kitchen.”

“You’re such a workaholic.”

“We’re the same person.”

“Well one of us same-people forgot how to have fun~”

Yuto glowered at him, and Yuya just crossed his eyes and stuck out his tongue.  Yuto rolled his eyes, and turned his attention back to harvesting.  He was gonna give himself heat stroke.

Yuya sighed and wandered to the next row, wondering what else his mom might want to use for dinner tonight.  Hmm, cabbages, carrots, beets…oh?

Yuya crouched down to see what was growing in this thick bush.  A grin sprouted over his face.

“Hey, Yuto,” he called.

“I’m not looking at your silly face again,” Yuto said.

“Party pooper.”

“Call me whatever you want.”

Yuya rolled his eyes with a grin, then grasped the big vegetable and popped it free of the bush, holding it over his head like he was a video game character and hopping over the rows to get back to Yuto. 

He leaned over the back of Yuto to dangle the eggplant in front of his face.

“It you,” Yuya said, wiggling the eggplant at him.  “See?  It’s even got a big old frown.”

He poked at a rippled bit of the eggplant’s skin that looked like it could have been a misshapen face.

Yuya pretty much expected Yuto to scowl and push it away before scolding Yuya back to work.  He didn’t expect, but was absolutely delighted, to hear the snort that escaped Yuto’s lips.  His eyes widened, and he covered his mouth with one hand.

“That wasn’t a laugh!” he said.  “I didn’t laugh.”

“Suuure, you didn’t,” Yuya teased, leaning back.  “It must have been my new best friend, eggplant-Yuto.”

Yuya put the eggplant up against his face and wobbled it up and down with his head.

“Hi there, I’m frowny-mcfrown-face eggplant Yuto,” Yuya said in a silly voice.  “I don’t laugh, even if an eggplant makes a funny voice at me.”

Another snort rolled out of Yuto’s mouth and it was kind of cute how embarrassed he looked about it.

“That’s not what I sound like,” he muttered.

“No, but it’s what I, the great stoic eggplant Yuto, sound like!”

That did it.  Yuto practically dropped his basket as the laughter rolled out of him.  Yuya almost dropped the eggplant too as he laughed, hugged it to his chest and laughing until his sides hurt.

“I hate you,” Yuto said between giggles.

“I love you too,” Yuya said in eggplant-Yuto’s voice.

That only set them off again.  The baskets were never going to get filled at this rate.

I got so caught up with my Japan trip back in January and then coming back and adjusting to normal routine - that i forgot to post the xmas presents I did for some friendos. whoops.  This one was for a Merfolk!au @dancerladyaqua (who the present is for) and @nierza cooked up.
