Imagine the Chain reacting to learning that the Sailor, the youngest among them, is one of only ones among them to have taken someone's life. Not a monster, but a person. It's expected coming from the Captain, who fought in an actual war. Twilight is a little more unexpected, but it's not exactly a surprise (the same could apply to Wild, depending on how you frame the Yiga Clan and/or if you count TotK as canon to LU, for Legend, Four, and Hyrule, it was different since they only ever fought Ganon as a monster). But nobody expects the seemingly innocent Wind. Especially not in as brutal a fashion as driving the Master Sword through his skull.
