So about this morning and this photo. 📸 I spent the weekend capturing little precious moments with my camera, moments that remind me I love exploring my creativity. I feel most alive after a good sweat and a photography endeavor or writing a poem. 📝 . . Oh yes, this morning. I woke up at 5am, pitch dark, finally got up at 5:30am. The sky started brightening slightly around 6:30am. It was very foggy. I went outside to absorb the stillness, embrace the beauty of first light. 💖 . . I packed my car and set out on the road. Suddenly the fog started lifting and this incredible light started streaming through. ☀️ I couldn’t wait to find a spot to pull over and capture the stunning beauty of the fog gracefully dancing over the mountains. 💃✨ . . The Monday morning fog lifted early and my heart felt a beautiful sense of calm. 💛 . . #mountaindancing #breathtaken #danceyourdance #fullypresent #capturethemoment #heartfull #fillyourcup #momentslikethis #simplethings #andthenthefoglifted #roamwild #mondaymorning #mountaingirl #alwaysreadyfortheunexpected #destinationearth #shineyourlight #minicooperadventures #divedeepintoyourdreams https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn2H1rLgEsg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=e6sntahrry92

Some of you may recall the television show called “To Tell the Truth”. The television show usually had 3 people claim to be the same person and you had to guess which person was really the one who all 3 purported to be.
Many of us unknowingly do this each day. How many of us truly awaken and genuinely go about our day living in our truth? What are the repercussions of this? Why are we doing it? I believe that many of us don’t realize we are living a false life, mostly since we have been doing it for so long.
When we are little, our parents and others who surround us love to tell us what we can and cannot do. We begin to listen to the external voices at a very young age and we suppress who we really are. We decide we can’t act a certain way, we can’t dress the way we really want, we can’t be friends with who we want. We begin to conform to society and squander our identity in the process.
Think back to when you were younger. What job did you not take for fear of ridicule? Did you not try out for a sport because you felt you were not deserving? Did you meet someone you really liked but could not be friends with that person because you were told they were not good enough? Conversely, did you have a crush on someone but knew they would never like you because you were led to believe that you were unworthy?
What if this didn’t happen. Who would we really be? Who could we really become?
Now, I also think that when things don’t flow flawlessly in life, you have the capacity and opportunity to learn crucial life lessons. Sometimes we pay attention to those lessons and grow from the experience. However, I would bet that more times than not, this shapes who we become and forms our negative programming. This internal program is what prevents us from taking the necessary steps to become who we were meant to be.
So, who are you really? Who did you abandon so long ago? Try becoming the real you once again. Buy yourself the flowers you really love. See the movie you want to see. Dance the dance you want to dance. Listen to the music your soul is craving to hear. Go back to school to become what you have dreamt of being. Become the vegetarian you have always wanted to be. Lose the weight you have been keeping on because it protects you from living the life you have always wanted to live but were told you couldn’t. Marry the person you really love. Be you! Be the real you!
Releasing the negative programming takes practice and there are many spiritual or inspirational thought leaders who can assist you with this process. You can do it, we all have the power to create the life we really want. Put one foot in front of the other and walk toward the life you want. As you move in the direction of the true you, you will find that person. Release the fear, anxiety and know in your heart that it is truly possible. The real you is in there.
Meditation is a great step toward repairing your internal negative neural network. It will lighten your heart and fill it with love, that is a great place to start. Try it for 10 – 15 minutes a day. We both know you can spare that small amount of time.
Become your own author and rewrite your story. Anything is possible, as long as you believe. Never be afraid to show the world who you truly are, for when you do, magic happens.
So, will the real you please stand up?

This series came about as I realised that to know life we must give ourselves completely to life.
