T: why is that chicken hotter than me

A: Well normally a chicken gets cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit in order to be safe for consumption. The average human body temperature is around 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Since 165 degrees is hotter than 98 degrees (give or take), the chicken must be hotter than you in order to be safe for human consumption.
