What I think the real reason is for why no ships are canon in Dandy's World

I'm going to be honest. The real reason why I think Qwel has stated that no ship is canon in the Dandy's World game (Aside from Mr. and Mrs. Holloway who are implied to have never existed) doesn't just do with her wanting everybody to feel their ships are validated. (I do think that's part of reason don't get me wrong) but I believe there is a lore reason for it too. Basically. The toons cannot feel romantic bonds for one another because it was forbidden from their design. I mean think about it. From what we know about Arthur and Delilah, do you really think they want toons to be able to form those close bonds with one another? Let's also mention that Gardenview is attraction targeted at kids. It wouldn't be out of possibility they forbid it to make the toons more relatable to younger demographics and to play things safe.

This could be one reason why Gourdy's parents were never made into actual toons, because their love for one another might have "infected" the ichor and given other toons the ability to feel the same way.

We know that Gardenview's system does everything in its power to weaken familial bonds between toons. Look at how out of all the toons who are siblings/cousins (Goob and Scraps, Cosmo and Ginger, Connie and Soulvester, and Flutter and Flyte) Goob and Scraps are the only ones who aren't separated from one another for 11 months as they are both year round toons. We see first hand how they have no problem separating literal family to control the toons.

I seriously hope they confirm this. It would really help make Gardenview even darker and more cruel than it already is.

Have you guys read some of Bassie's dialogues yet? (I don't have her yet but some of y'all are QUICK)

(I'm sure I'm missing something but I saw these dialogues and had to talk about them)

...is she okay? Something is clearly wrong with her. She seems hyper aware that she just an event toon and seems to openly despise cocoa who is the most "Easter" of the toons.

She seems to like Eggson okay but still would prefer if they didn't get on the topic of just the holiday.

More interestingly she seems to be closest with Flyte,

Who is the least intensely "Easter" of the group.

Now slight detour on the same road but not about Bassie, this dialogue,

Is insanely interesting to me. Not just for Flyte but for Ginger as well, because they know. They are also aware that they're holiday toons which could be assumed, but they also know that that's worse. They love their sister and cousin but they can't see them most of the year.

I assumed that the paper talking about the Christmas toons meant that they were going to go into hibernation or something but no. I think this confirms the idea that they were just put into storage, mostly because they're talking at all. With the hibernation thing they literally shouldn't be awake at the same time but they have dialogue with each other meaning they have to be awake now at the same time.

It's clear that they don't know each other so it is VERY likely that the place being shut down is the first time they were allowed to talk to each other.

Back on the Bassie train the first time I saw the "get her get her" room I figured it was about Delilah, which it still may be, but the whole room is all about Bassie. Bassie posters with the "to" in together crossed out to make "get her" and Bassie has her face crossed out on most of the posters I think (I may be wrong I don't have a photo).

What does all this mean?

I have no idea! That's why I am making this post because WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN????

I don't normally do stuff like this but with the Christmas event right around the corner I decided to make a character analysis on Bobette, because to me she's one of the most misunderstood toons in Dandy's world!

I urge you to give it a watch if you don't know much about Bobette, because she has a lot more going on under the surface than what most of the fandom realizes!

Austin Russo: Astro's handler. Russo is an italian surname

Shanon Mendez: Shelly's handler. Mendez is a spanish surname

Devan Reed: Dandy's handler. Reed is a scottish surname

Sam McLaughlin: Sprout's handler. McLaughlin is a irish surname

Veronica Hurley: Vee's handler. Hurley is an english surname

Some of these have multiple origins, but I'm going to assume they're going for multiple/different nationalities.

Little theory but since the toons in dandy's world are made of 'ichor' which in Greek mythology, ichor acts as the blood that flows through the veins of the gods, so ichor in dandy's world is literally blood from Greek gods that Delilah somehow obtained/discovered and the reason toons/twisteds like glisten, astro, finn, Shelly, sprout(or any of the healers), yatta, Connie, flyte etc.. have literal superpowers is because of this ichor that they are made out of.

What's Dandy's World about? I'm curious now-

In basics, it's like if Bendy and the Ink Machine met Dead By Daylight and the main character was Flowey the Flower.

Welcome to Gardenview, an educational center and museum, which has been shut down in 2002 due to negligence.

The founders of Gardenview are Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. Arthur was the creator of the cartoon Dandy's World, its characters, ect. Delilah brought said characters to life through unknown- and quite frankly questionable- means.

Tldr: The funny cartoons with god blood in an abandoned museum survive evil counterparts of themselves, and the holiday ones go catatonic sometimes because of budget cuts.
