Dannymay Day 1 - Twins

I love that Dani enrolled herself at Casper High in Danny Phantom: Fair Game. I think it would be funny if Danny claimed her as a long-lost twin.

I'M DONE WITH MY FINALS I CAN POST THIS NOW!!

Hi it's uh BEEN AWHILEEEEEE. I finished this in-between working on last minute assignments and finals I had early access too. A nice break. I sketched this back in early October (the 6th) with the intent of finishing this before Fair Game released... Fair Game has been out for a month so that obviously did not happen lol. I finished this the 7th but have been waiting to post till after finals so I'm not distracted. Also so I could make sure there were no more mistakes left to catch because I noticed a major one after posting this in several servers 💀

Anyways talking about the drawing now. Dani being more blue is 100% intentional. I like to think because of her initial status as an unstable clone Dani has a but of bleed over between her forms. Her eyes in ghost form are green with a blue tint and her eyes in human form are blue with a green tint. Or I might just make them the same color if I get lazy I haven't gotten to coloring any human Danis I've drawn. Another part of the blue is I like and stole the headcanon of Dani being more interested in the ocean while Danny is more into space so blue tint is like the ocean. This is also why I don't give Dani the star freckles I give Danny. Still thinking maybe when she gets older she gets maybe seashell freckles or something else I'm not sure. I also do subscribe to the ghost obsession headcanon with Danny having protection and space as his and Dani having ocean and traveling as hers. I'll probably share my headcanons relating to their obsessions for another post so I could organize my thoughts lol.

I really hope I finish some drawings of human Dani soon because I made some little changes to her design in response to my Danny human design. Like I noticed in canon while Danny wears short sleeves and pants Dani wears long sleeves hoodie and shorts. I gave Danny long sleeves so to keep the pattern I gave Dani a hoodie with short sleeves like above elbow length.

Don't ask me what's going on with the background. I went through 3 different backgrounds and then started fooling around with teal and purple because they're my favorite colors and it stuck. Was not planning on keeping this background and sat on it for a few days intending to change but now I like it a lot.

I think it's a bit of a hot take but I do not like seeing Danny as Dani's father. Viewing them that way just makes me sad because even though Danny does act protective towards her he's 14 and she's 12 and him having to be a parent that young makes me really sad especially since it's shown Jazz (who's only 16 and turns 17 in AGIT) parents Danny a bit and the thought of the cycle containing again makes me really emotional.

I wrote this before Fair Game but now that it's out and I've read it I agree with this even more. They both undeniably care for each other but they do not know how to be in each other's presence for long. Danny undeniably cares about her but not in the way a parent would. Hell I like viewing them as siblings but I'm starting to admit to myself they really are like cousins with the distance between them. This is coming from someone who is close with their cousins.

Had the fun idea of a Danny Phntom and Ghost and Molly McGee crossover story where the Chairman's Robe finds its way to Dani.

Giving an unstable teenage girl the powers of a dead Ancient, access to the "top shelf curses", and control over a portion of the Infinite Realms is a probably a great idea.

Luckily she has Dan there to give her advice! I'm sure he only has good suggestions!
