Huh. Something feels familiar about Tenna winning the Tumblr Sexyman competition, but I can't put my finger on what-

“And if you’ll give me 40% of the MOST POPULAR VOTE, I’ll give you my SPECIAL REWARD... A year’s supply of NON-GLOOBY SLIME!!! Never or BARELY used!!!” Tenna concluded his speech with a huge smile, jetting his hands up in double peace signs.
The crowd roared in confused enthusiasm as Tenna gave a gracious flurry of low-FPS bows, pausing only for the occasional stink-nose at his audience plants who weren’t throwing enough 3D roses.
Eventually, the room fell silent. It was Senshi’s turn to speak.
He puffed out his chest, took a long, sweeping look over the audience… and shook his head.
“I can see not all of you are eating properly.”
The crowd murmured with embarrassment.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s time to take the turkey out of your icebox. I have seen the ingenious technology with which your people store food... and I have also seen the waste which results from such convenience.
“The food you take had a life. Beasts grew fat on the grass of the field, plants grew from the sun’s rays, and mushrooms grew from minerals in the cracks of caves. And yet, it sits in your iceboxes, collecting moisture until it perishes.
“Eat what is given to you. Because its life will make you stronger, too.”
Without another word, Senshi left his podium and stepped away from the stage. The crowd murmured in confusion. “Is he really like that?” somebody said. “I only remember reblogging the photosets of him tripping and showing ass.”
--
Back in the Green Room, Tenna wrung his antennas nervously.
“Y-y-you think they liked me!? They HAD to!! I mean, I don’t know what Asgore was thinking, getting that weird haircut and running that food waste campaign, but… YOU thought I did good, didn’t you, Kris?”
Laios nodded aggressively, a streak of blue face paint peeling from his forehead.
“You did AMAZING, Tenna! By the way, now that we’ve seen all your insider campaign secrets, do you have any more videos of Susie? Especially her tail... If I could get a look at that, I could finally tell if she’s a dinosaur or --”
THWACK. Fake antlers butted Laios’s head.
“LAIOS?? Weren’t we dressed up to help SENSHI???” Marcille hissed, gesturing awkwardly with her hooves.
Suddenly, Tenna turned to the two adventurers.
“Hey, WAIT a second. SOMETHING’s not right here...”
Laios and Marcille held their breath.
“Where the heck are my POINTS!?”
Just then, the door opened. Chilchuck took one step into the room, whistling and holding a large bag.
Everyone turned to him.
Chilchuck paused, took a step backwards, and closed the door.
“CHILCHUCK!!!” yelled Tenna.
“How come Chilchuck got to stay Chilchuck!?” yelled Marcille at the same time.

Meanwhile, in outer space somewhere, some guy was making out with a rock.
Hey so remember how last time we got official Toby Fox fanfiction about an Undertale/Deltarune character winning a tumblr sexyman poll the Queen of England died
What helped me write trauma better is remembering that the nervous system learns predictions. If danger used to come after quiet, calm can feel threatening. If kindness used to come with a price, kindness can feel suspicious. So healing is not just “they know they’re safe now.” Healing is the slow, annoying, deeply unfair process of teaching the body that the old prediction is not always the present truth.
I loved Chapter 5, but what were half of the Darkners in the Flower Kingdom supposed to be? Some were things like pots or gardening shears, that makes sense.
But what were the Netskies? The Kawkaws? Several of them were just Chapter 1 callbacks that don't make as much sense in a flower shop. Any Darkner based on a plant that needs light would eventually die in Castle Town, so I assume most of them aren't. The Leaflings are probably dead leaves, but the Netskies have a pretty big plant-like tail that seems to be their true body.
Were the Shinobeetles and Mantises just normal bugs? Are they in the same boat as the flowers, being alive in the light world but gaining a new form/consciousness in the dark? Where is the line on that sort of thing?
Jimmy Flamebird you idiot
Hey so like
After the Flowery fight, we know what the orange SOUL mode does. The only one we don't know yet is the cyan/aqua SOUL.
If everything with Aqua is implying that Kris' original SOUL color was cyan... something tells me whatever boss fight ends up revealing what that mode does is going to be VERY personal to them

Noelle's conversation with Susie about the Dragon Blazers II Evil Route is so important to me.
Out of everyone, Noelle is the one impacted by our actions in the weird route the most. Kris is a close second, but it all centers around Noelle. If anyone would have the right to condemn us for choosing to explore that path, it would be her. But no. She chose to take the dark path in a game based on the Prophecy, just like us, and even went out of her way to make sure her parents wouldn't catch her playing it so she could keep exploring it.
If she were a real person in our world, Noelle would be deep in the UTDR trenches. She'd absolutely explore the geno route, just to see what happens. Nobody is going to argue she's secretly some horrible person, yet if the roles were reversed, she's the type of player who would try put the weird route, if out of nothing more than sheer curiosity.
You're not a bad person for playing the evil route in a game. Its just a game. I think a lot of people forget that.
I doubt this'll be relevant even if we do see it again, but I like to think the vessel we designed is a poor approximation of a human.
Its limbs are kinda rubbery, able to bend at unnatural angles. Its face is completely blank, lacking anything that really should be there. It doesn't need eyes, being designed to house a being that can see from above. Its chest rises and falls when active, even without a mouth or nose. If it needs to eat, a hole sort of rips open right where a mouth should be, sealing back up as soon as its no longer needed. It looks human, but taking a closer look, you can tell its definitely not.
Its designed to house a human soul, made with human parts. But it doesn't need to exist as a living thing outside of our control. Its wrong in all the ways its creator didn't think would matter.
A while back I went to a con that had a panel about the psycology behind favorite characters. I don't remember a whole lot of it, but something that stuck out to me was that part of why we can find confort in certain characters is that, unlike real people, our favorite fictional characters will never reject us.
Earlier that day I saw at least one person in a Kris Dreemurr cosplay
Now that everyone is going crazy about the "You've been collecting eggs and now FRIEND is going to GET you" patch Toby has the opportunity to do something really funny
Hey so new FRIEND lore from Pink that just dropped in a patch gonna be totally normal about this
We don't know for sure why Kris can't enter the Dark Worlds without a SOUL, but after seeing the flowers, I think they'd be in a similar situation to them. Living things without SOULs get transformed like objects do in the dark.
I think this might be part of why the Knight looks like they do. They can move in ways no Lightner should be able to. If they're soulless, then they get treated like an object, gaining a new form and abilities in the dark, beyond what normal Lightners get. Kris can still move pretty quick and put up a decent fight without their SOUL, even if they are kinda dying.
The main question would be "how is the Knight still alive", which is fair. I'd suspect the darkness changed them somehow, filling the gap left by their SOUL and keeping them alive, but they can't exist for long in the Light World. This would also explain why, despite looking like a powerup on paper, Kris doesn't want to take that risk.
If it IS Dess under the helmet, that could also explain why we're hearing her voice in the code. Its her SOUL, the culmination of her being, calling out. The text is unused because it has no body for it to be associated with. A SOUL can't speak, or even properly interact with the world, without a vessel. Her body and mind are working as the Knight, changed by the darkness, yet lacking what makes her, her.
The "SOUL vs body" split also pairs nicely with our situation with Kris.
I'm not sure what to do with these thoughts so out into the void of the internet they go
Currently having a lot of thoughts about stories that pull time travel out of their ass in the finale. Time travel inherently comes with consequences and paradoxes. Using it carelessly can devalue a story as a whole.
Not sure if I'll make a full post about this, we'll see
If Alan Dracula has every superpower, then "opening inter-dimentional gateways" must be included in that. He's probably the only Denizen who can leave the Train of his own free will
What I'm saying is that theres a non-zero chance of Jesse and Lake being woken up by a familiar deer staring in the second story window
oh hello
OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING I LOVE IT SO MUCH
