So for a lil back story, I was scrolling through tumblr thinking about arcane.

Idk if you've watched arcane, (if you haven't you should!) But it's one of my favorite things at the moment, and I'm trying out that artstyle.

What else is a favorite of mine? Your art!

So as one would I had a look at your ocs, (was going to choose Peccantum, but I couldn't work around his square head. [Love peccantum]) to choose one to draw in the arcane artstyle! So I got one. Refrences:

This is the first time I've received fanart of Daniel unprompted and I am- AAAAAAAA thank youuuuuu!!!!!!!

That's him! That's my boi! That's my immortal lil guyyyyy!!! Daniel my beloved!!!!! I love how you did the lapels of his jacket and added stray strands to his hair! And the ear is so well done???? Nice shading there!

The mask is a little wonky, but that's completely understandable. Translating a 2d design into a more 3d style (like arcane) is such a difficult thing to do. Daniel has a much better face shape for it than Peccantum, but even so he's very cartoon-y. Especially with that mask.

Living with Monsters ~ Daniel

Realized I never posted these separately! Might as well give y'all some more info about them too while we're at it. SpeedPaint can be found here! But I'll add some more fun facts under the cut!

Daniel

Daniel is immortal. Originally he was a rich kid with mommy issues. He's now turned into a rebellious 400 year old punk with both Mother and Father issues! He's immortal, he's got a best friend reaper, and he's also been clean of nicotine for almost two decades! He's also got ADHD cause he's my favorite and so inherited my mental illness!

Heather

Heather calls herself Daniel's father, even though she's a cis woman. She's about 2100 years old ish? She witnessed the burning of the library of Alexandria, and it changed something in her. Soon afterwards, she became immortal. She now sees herself as the guardian of mortal's history. She's seen empires rise and fall, she's stolen books from burning pyres, and collected a lot of knowledge from all around the world.

Celine

Celine's a human witch. While not a monstrous race or condition, witches often get lumped in with talks of monsters. Her path towards witchcraft started as a coping mechanism for her OCD. As of now, she's managing her OCD fairly well. But on days when it's really bad, she relies on her bodyguard/bouncer to run the bar.

Ashe

Ashe is a personification of the concept of humanity. He goes by he/they pronouns and has a lot more personality than other reapers. They have stars in their cloak because stars & the stories they told have been part of humanity for as long as it existed. Wears a bowtie for fun!

Mushroom Demon

The personification of Addiction. Addiction isn't the person, it is the tentacles attached below it. Originally inspired by an inktober prompt! The immortal soul it currently is holding onto is almost useless to Addiction. It hunts down immortals, who are particularly prone to it, and captures them to consume them. The process of 'possessing' them is very long and tedious, so Addiction has to keep them coming back & staying with it.
