The Smith Family Album: Volume III
What better place to start than with a birthday party!
Harriet’s ex John Willoughby gets an invitation to celebrate his daughter’s birthday, and Anna also invites her two best friends: Bertram Bennet and Jasper Tilney.
You’ll do, Anna (although I think your outerwear could do with a revamp, and I need to track down your eyebrows as they seem to have gone AWOL).

~ Brave / Devious / Night Owl / Irresistible (everyone who meets her seems to adore her, despite possibly being the most heartless Sim in my game, so it seemed an appropriate choice!)

Ooh, look, a bit of teen flirting already!
Which seems to spark action in another quarter. If Harriet’s hoping for a reconciliation, I think she’s going to be disappointed.
Anna’s youngest brother - and family joker - Gabriel takes the opportunity to study the nuances of teen social interaction, thinking it might make a good source of material for his latest stand-up comedy routine.
Anna sets off to school the next morning, with a new look, thinking that’s it never too soon to get those Simoleans rolling in!
A few practical skills never go amiss either.
Autonomous sibling affection! Now where did that come from? Anna has spent most of her life so far teasing her younger brothers! Maybe she does have a heart in there, somewhere.
Time for her to get a job.
She also gets her birthday wish and adopts a new kitten (which she promptly ignores and leaves her mother to look after), named Cat.
But not for long! (Such pretty green eyes!)
~ Genius / Independent / Finicky
Cat immediately sets to work, showing that presumptuous springy bird who is boss around here!
Harriet - perhaps accepting her single status at last - also throws herself into her career.
And tries to keep her strong-willed teenage daughter on the straight and narrow (I have absolutely no idea what Anna did wrong to get a ticking off!).
In fact, Harriet is now the mum of two teens. Anna’s displays of sibling affection were short-lived, and she’s back to plaguing her younger brothers again!
Teenage Willoughby gets a new pair of glasses, a cute pink sweatshirt, and a fresh purpose in life!
~ Aquarius 4 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 5
~ Genius / Dog Person / Family-Oriented / Flirty
~ Favourite Colour(s): Pink / Grey
~ Aspiration: Knowledge / Family
~ Turn-ons / -off: +Alien / +Intellectual / -Rebellious
I think Harriet is feeling a bit deprived of adult company, but at least Colin the Cockatiel is happy to spend time with her.
Gabriel’s comedic observations on teen romance go down a storm with neighbour Catherine Steele!
Dignity is irrelevant when there’s money to be made.
Anna brings home from work Ricky Cormier and his natty hat for a boogie in the living room.
Cat figures - quite reasonably, I feel - that if the Sims are going to talk about the food rather than eat it, he might as well help himself to it instead.
First kiss time! Anna clearly is Irresistible, even in a comedy llama outfit. I’ll let you into a secret though: it’s not actually Anna’s first kiss, it’s Ricky’s. ;)
