(Daniel Glattauer, La settima onda)
So today I’ve listened a “Love virtually” and “Every seventh wave” BBC audio drama with David as Leo. And I’m in love. In tears. And emotionally devastated. Ludovico Einaudi as background is an additional bonus.
I didn’t know the book, but I’m goin to read it in my native language with is polish. In Poland we have very similar book “S@motność w sieci” by Janusz Leon Wisniewski. And I’m so surprised by similarities between those two. Many years ago I tried to read “S@motnosc” and I didn’t like it at all. Find it boring. But now, when I’m 38, married, I accidentally have different point of view.
寫給我。 寫作好比接吻,用心靈親吻,只不過少了唇。 Mi scriva. Scrivere è come baciare, solo senza labbra. Scrivere è baciare con la mente. 💋

● 我喜歡帶了垢的心和不安的意念。 那些經歷過艱辛生活的老靈魂; 那些散發出最美光芒的人。
I like dirty hearts and restless mind. The old souls that have known hard lives; the ones who cast the most beautiful shine.

Audiobooks are not for me. Audio drama is definitely not for me.
And yet.
I've just spent 90 minutes listening to Love Virtually and Every Seventh Wave, the BBC Radio 4 adaptations with David Tennant and Emilia Fox.
Worth every second.

I cannot get you out of my mind and that is why I cannot stop smiling. It's December first and are you my early Christmas present? You have made yourself comfortable in this dusty but glaringly large, empty corner of my mind. You are not the kind to put up fairy lights or look up for constellations. That's what I do. I wonder, what are you going to do next? Are you going to take stock of my thoughts and organize them for better efficiency? I hope you don't spend too much time there and instead dive deep into my emotions, messy but well meaning. I know I have found space in your mind too. But it's not in a corner where the sunlight of your emotions showers. I have a long way to go. I may never reach there. But as long as I continue to camp in your mind. And as long as we continue to write. I am fine with that. Because isn't writing like kissing? Kissing with our minds. Let's continue.
