Danny is the youngest son of the hero known as The Thing, or as most call him Ben Grimm. After divorcing his first wife he remarried his old flame Alicia Masters, as the youngest child of the pair he was spoiled by his mother. While he did not inherit his father’s rock like skin, he did develop superhuman speed thanks to the cosmic rays his father absorbed years prior. As a child he was constantly off and disappearing, while also observing everything around himself catching things most people would miss in the blink of an eye.
Unlike his older brother, he loved training with his father enjoying the chance to use his powers any time he was allowed to.As he grew older though he tended to be overly boastful over his abilities, resembling his ‘uncle’ Johnny Storm in some ways much to his father’s annoyance, after the man’s death Danny was devastated. Currently he is attempting to develop some kind of relationship with his half siblings, while also beginning to take his training at the Academy more seriously.
