Enation....and Jonathan Jackson!
Yesterday was an eventful day for me. During my time off I decided to make a quick last minute decision to hop on the train to NYC so I can see Enation perform live at Barnes and Noble in TriBeca alone. I happened to see on Facebook the day before that they would be there doing a signing and performance. If you purchased the cd which I did, of course you got to part take in it all also you get a poster. When I got to Barnes and Nobles I was surprised i made it just in time..there were seats filled but I scored a second row seat. I have never been to an in store performance before it's very intimate. The stage was nearly a foot away it was so awesome. So the guys in Enation Richard Lee Jackson who plays drums, and the guitarist Daniel Sweatt came out first. While they were preparing the stage Jonathan Jackson sneaked out. He came off really down to earth. He announced that he loves Barnes and noble and actually hangs out there. They played about 7 songs from the album..one was on his show Nashville. He also played a cover "Desire" by U2. He has some pipes on him. Jonathan Jackson sounded amazing live and he went on some high notes that I didn't expect from him, but it was on key. I loved meeting him and telling him about how I miss him on the show General Hospital. He signed my cd with the rest of the guys and they signed my poster!. The guy who works at the store took a picture of all of us that I have shown below. Then I snapped one last photo of the band and Took off. The show was at 6:00pm I think I left at 7:20pm it was worth such a short trip to the city I had so much fun!.
That's me with Jonathan Jackson ,Richard lee Jackson, Daniel Sweatt.
A BIG THANK YOU!!! To ENATION Jonathan Jackson, Richard Lee Jackson, Daniel Sweatt for my signed photo :) (Taken with Instagram)
