No Fate Con guest Daniel Thomsen is slated to write the pilot episode of HBO's The Lobotomist, based on the Jack El-Hai book of the same name. Thomsen will also co-exec produce.

The pilot will be directed by Robert Schwentke. Leonardo DiCaprio and Laeta Galgridis are on board as executive producers.
