[2016.04.14_Day 2] Enjoyed the view of Palazzo Micheletti, a quaint 16th Century palace and square while I was doing people-watching in Piazza San Martino, Lucca, Italy.

[2016.05.09] Climbed up this long and steep uphill path to the rampart of the medieval citadel, known as the Cité de Carcassonne, a French fortified city in the department of Aude, in the region of Occitanie. I totally felt the medieval fortress atmosphere here. The whole walled city is a UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

[2004.05.29] I was staring at this simple carved limestone creation for a very long time and tried to figure out what's master sculptor Karl Pfann's message. After a while, I concluded stonework without text was just too deep for me, and felt defeated. So I admired the Austrian Artist for the mystery. Yet later I did some researches about this piece, I found that even Storm King Art Center where this sculpture has been displaying for years, didn't know the title of this sculpture when it arrived in 1961. Not until 1993, in response to an inquiry from Storm King, Pfann recalled an earlier working title, Dreieinigkeit. Here we go it translates as Trinity. See LessEdit1 ShareLikeCommentShare
