You are a ray of sunshine in the form of a lady. You're seriously one of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met, but not only that, you're almost impossibly talented, smart AND funny. I really admire how dedicated you are to making the world a better place, both through your actions and your work. I think we could all stand to be a little more like you. Also (and I always feel kind of awkies but HEY WHAT THE HECK IT'S TRUE), you are really beautiful. You've got great, great style.

What would be your perfect Friday night?
My perfect Friday night would be... man, I don't know. I think it probably changes depending on how I'm feeling, but right now, my perfect Friday night would be getting dressed up and wearing way too much makeup and taking this jerk to some tiny, pretentious bar where drinks all have literary names and the music's just loud enough that we have to make unfortunate hand gestures to illustrate our conversations. Then we'd get burritos and crash on a couch with the dog-and-or-cat that we co-own, and we'd talk about writing and bad movies and terrible tv shows and the worst of British boy bands until we pass out.
What's the best thing about where you live?
It's beautiful here. There are only a very few places in B.C. that aren't flat-out gorgeous (East Kootenay, j'accuse!) and where I am now has a really pretty mix of rivers and semi-arid desert and big hills and sagebrush bluffs. I live like 10 minutes from a waterfall, and I live downtown! If I drive a few hours I can get to places that look like this or this or this. The scenery is worth all other costs of admission.
