This scene from The Pitt hits hard
THE PITT 2x12 6:00PM
Dann Florek as Eddie Cohen
I never really found Dann Florek attractive on the original series of "Law & Order", but then I started watching SVU, and "Hello!! 🔥🔥"
He just needed a couple of more years on him and woof!
IS ANYONE OKAY?
S2 Ep 12
-Thank God Emma is okay!
-Dana definitely punched him and I support it.
-Dr. Al-Hashimi’s recommendation for two attendings is a great idea to help with the mental load. Robby shouldn’t have shut it down or insinuated that she’s going to “fuck up” when he’s gone. He’s becoming more of a dick as the season goes on.
-Whittaker being famous for living in the hospital that Joy asks for a selfie is great.
-Is Monica a Trump supporter? She used the term “snowflake” which MAGA is known for and uses a lot. Plus, I saw posts mentioning that she was talking to one of the ICE agents. I assumed it was to distract them, but she might support them.
-I think Al-Hashimi is either going to distance Langdon from treating patients or report him properly.
-Dana calling Robby out was perfect, especially when he said she’s not herself today. Typical pot calling the kettle black.
-A Pitt and SVU crossover with Cragen’s actor appearing lol.
-Dana advocating for nurses’ rights is great. Nurses deserve better treatment and more respect.
-Further evidence that Mohan would be great in geriatrics.
-I’m happy Emma is going to continue her shift. I really like her and would’ve been sad if she left early.
-The scene with Santos and the guy with the broken arm was pretty funny.
-This show taught me to never be near fireworks. During my childhood, my family would have fireworks at home. Thankfully, nothing bad ever happened. Even professionals aren’t safe.
-I got S1 Whittaker flashbacks when blood splattered on Joy.
-That sunburn or tanning accident patient was a jump scare. How did it become so severe?
-I was very surprised that Langdon offered McKay a hug. S1 Langdon would never.
-Joy saying “oops” in front of the patient was crazy.
-Mateo’s back! I didn’t recognize him at first with the beard and new hairstyle. He looks great though.
-Dana slamming the guy’s results on the window was such a power move. I love her!
-Langdon meeting those two men from his childhood was very cute. I would be like that if I met someone involved in a big part of my childhood.
-Mohan is killing it with treating the elderly couple. I would want her to be my doctor.
-Really Robby? “pre-disposed for the pace.”That comment wasn’t warranted, especially when Mohan is doing a great job. He’s really taking out his frustrations on everyone. Jesus Christ.
-Dana is right. Robby shouldn’t be so hard on Langdon when he was the one that gave him a second chance. What’s the point of giving Langdon the opportunity when you’re not going to let him take it.
-She’s also right that the hospital is going to survive the chaos with or without. Robby is not the one holding it together, it’s the team. I really think he puts all of himself in his work that he made it his identity, which makes the burnout and stress so much worse for him. Robby needs therapy immediately.
-I’m very worried about Santos, especially when she took the scalpel.
-The guy who assaulted Emma is such a dick. He doesn’t take responsibility for his addictions and actions.
-Santos and Whittaker’s friendship is so cute! It makes me happy that Whittaker checks on her when he bumps into her. I think Santos should stop her relationship with Garcia because it’s not helping her mental health. While she wants a romantic relationship, Garcia wants it to be casual. I feel bad that Santos thinks she’s a black sheep in the hospital because of what she did, but I’m having trouble seeing it. Everyone seems to be treating her normally, and I haven’t noticed any side eyeing or gossip about her. I don’t know if it’s because of the time skip or if it’s all in her head.
-Whittaker wanting Santos to admit that she enjoys living with him was sweet. I want more of their friendship shown.
-I’m bummed to see Joy not appear in the last three episodes but the reason fits with her character. She doesn’t want to burn out and is setting boundaries, which is totally healthy and in her right to do so. I’ll be sad since she’ll most likely not be in S3.
-Orlando, the diabetes patient, is back in worse shape. I get he was worried but he should’ve accepted the go fund me because his health is way more important. I hope he survives.
