My feelings on shipping people JUST in case something happens or someone asks or someone else also feels that way doesn't feel like typing it out.

I do not ship People. You CAN ship people but things tend to go south when people make if sexual for example Septiplier.

In MCYT I ship the ropeplay characters of skeppy and bbh but I am NOT upset over them not actually being in a relationship, same with DNF.

I couldn't ship it if It weren't detached from reality, yknow? Like

it's fuckin minecraft.

but there is nothing against the people who DO.

I like dnf fics but not Heat Waves or a few others because they feel to REAL not dumb roleplay more like I was watching to people true or not.

But I reblog art and memes cause they're gorgeous and really funny.

I don't ship Markiplier and Jacksepticeye, honestly because I've never understood it,

But also because they said it Wasn't okay and made them uncomfortable.

That is different to how SOME people on the dream smp feel. I'm sure some people are afraid to join because of the Shipping and fanart.

Stuff like this tends to drive people away from each other and I worry that some of you guys are gonna take it too far and they stop posting together or something.

again this isn't HATE towards people who do. I just needed to get this out it was on my mind.

TD;LR

Shipping real people is okay with permission but I would suggest not in case of making them uncomfortable or making it sexual.

I was just watching the dnp go to a party vid and the game is asking them to do a jump thing and then phil does it one time too many and dan says “it stopped asking us to, grandad.” lmao I’m just imagining dan constantly exaggerating their age difference acting like phil is a million years old. like “sure u can make it old man?” when they’re going up stairs or running to catch something. and if phil asks what an internet or slang thing is dan just sighs like u do when ur trying to explain a multi level meme to an Adult tm like “ugh phil it’s just... nvm u wouldn’t get it”

it’s just... literally so simple. and ppl are making it so complicated. you wouldn’t call your ex or your platonic friend your “actual soulmate and companion through life” probably ever and definitely not in your video coming out to the entire world. you reserve that title for the person you want to romantically spend the rest of your life with. I mean like actually put yourself in this scenario bc I don’t think yall are understanding the weight of those words. think about your exes (no matter how close of friends you still may remain after breaking up). would you call them your soulmate and companion through life (present tense)? spoiler alert the answer is no you would not. and you certainly wouldn’t say that in the video where you chose to come out as gay to the whole world. dan is very smart and acutely aware that every word in BIG would be interpreted/analyzed to the moon and back. so he certainly didn’t say anything in that video lightly or without very careful thought. so then why would he choose to talk about phil as his soulmate if they were not together any longer? when he knows that his audience (who analyzes every word out of dan’s mouth) would interpret him calling phil his soulmate to mean exactly what it sounds like (that him and phil are together).  also yes I know platonic soulmates exist obviously but this is the exception not the rule in the meaning of this word. I just feel like yall don’t understand how language works. people don’t talk in cut and dry sentences because we’re not robots. BIG is an artistic and dramatic storytelling video (bc Dan’s a dramatic lil theater gay). so yes Dan doesn’t say “Hi I’m Dan. I’m dating Phil currently and have been for ten years” bc that would be weird and awkward and that’s not how storytelling works! But does he really need to say it in those exact words for ppl to get it?? Anyway if you don’t get that “we are real best friends, companions through life, like actual soulmates” speaks volumes more than some dry ass “yes we’re together” then yall need to watch some romantic movies or something for fucks sake
