So has dan and ray ever met? Like I know day has an ongoing joke about #DanTheMan, but dan works with Gavin on slow mo, soooo idk just confused sorry if it's silly to ask! xx

yeah! i know towards the beginning of when gavin worked there (what over a year agoish?) dan went out once and him and ray took this photo in this equally as amazing post (also watch that l4d2 video, it was super super funny and dan set his name on steam to #DanTheMan and his spray (a litle square picture u can put on the walls) to this photo of dan)

and then if you look in my danray tag on the second page it shows when they met at rtx!!! dan waited in line (or cut and waited for a bit) at the second ah panel and then when he got up there said very quietly that he’d like a job and then that he’d like to hug ray and ray was like, “hell yeah” and ran out and jumped up and dan held him and spun him around and it was amAZING 

i’m sure they’ve hung out aside from that bc on the podcast gavin talks about how dan hangs around the office when he visits, but yeah!!!

Danray, in a horror movie AU.

"Dan, I killed him, he's gone-oh my God, no, no, no," Ray broke down, fingers shaking against the fabric lining Dan's shoulders, seeped in scarlet as he held the other towards his chest. 

Dan choked on blood, whispering sweet senses of good bye, smiling just gingerly enough for Ray's heart to skip a beat despite the circumstances, "I'm sorry Ray, I kn-know I promised we'd both make it out, but ... but I'm gl-glad you got to, at least."

When Dan stopped breathing, Ray cried into his chest, mixing salty tears with red as cop sirens wailed their greeting in the distance.

how about danray meeting for the first time after speaking online for months?

"You're a lot taller in person," Ray speculated, eyebrows raised in mock-surprise as he looked up the other's solid figure.

"And for a Brownman, you're not very tan," Dan laughed, putting his hand out to shake Ray's own.

Of course that wouldn't be good enough, because when Ray pulled him in for a super homoerotic picture (that would later end up on Twitter), the two of them couldn't think of one wrong thing about the other.

"Don't be like that, being my Queen is going to be the best thing that'll ever happen to you!" Ray grinned from ear to ear as he spoke, hands escalating each syllable and with a sweet tone to his voice. 

"Just sayin', if I ever bloody end up having to attend one of those tower matches you do with the other kings, I'm not sure if I could handle being a bystander," Dan informed the other, stopping in place to look Ray in the eye.

"Well then I guess I'll just have to win, won't I?"

i love making headcanons for this couple??? but there's so many i have if you message me off anon or send another ask i can probably make a (kinda, but probably not) short list of them for that couple!

but i must say in fics i really like build up and not?? instant?? liking and i'm a big fan of whenever they talk on twitter or do they're dumb super homoerotic hugs!!! i also love the idea of dan hitting on ray and ray playing it off with jokes + dan using his height to his advantage in any way possible !!!
