dan and Phil being in a relationship is pretty much an open secret but it Hits diff when they confirmed it. The vid is an interesting input cause you never really get to hear from the source about irl shipping like obviously there would be bad apples in there but they talked about irl shipping much more differently than how I expected, I feel some sort of ego I'm not one of those parasocial phannies but that also means I couldn't call myself a seasoned veteran dawg I was 7 when I got into Dan and Phil I couldn't give af about shipping, I just want to see these British men with sharpie whiskers play a fool on my ipad, they're my ipad kid phontent slop 🫶

Might be a hot take but shipping two real people together is a bit weird. I know two followers do ship irl people and I used too as well. But these aren't fictional characters, they're real people with real lives. I used to ship Mario and Will from Will Wood and The Tapeworms. I don't anymore because it's a bit weird. I respect people who do because, like people who ship fictional characters, it might be a coping mechanism. Im not judging people who do, it's just a thing I think. Ask questions if you want to know more :)

I feel like being a fan of an irl ship and having it hard launch like Dan and Phil is a lot like being in the NASA control room during a space launch. It's going to end one of three ways: the ship takes off, it crashes and burns, or nothing happens at all. And of course when the ship takes off, everyone in the control room cheers and shouts "we knew it" but they didn't really know it. It's just that that option was the most preferable so they tried to convince themselves it was the only option, but they know that it just as easily could have crashed and burned or had nothing happen at all.

• he has Meralgia paresthetica and post-revolution developed chronic migraines.

• from 1959-1960 he was a propaganda artist until he eventually became Che’s translator. although this wouldn’t stop him from occasionally drawing propaganda posters.
