I've been practicing witchcraft for about 5+ years now I think, and so I have an altar for different purposes:

Firstly, it's where I keep my crystals. I have rose quartz, amethyst, labradorite, blood stone, and a ton more, so I have to keep them in one place so I don't lose them. It helps also that they're all together, because their energies will sync and strengthen each other... well I put my own energy into having them sync up, and it helps because different crystals have different energies while still having some similar attributes

Secondly, my altar is PACKED with tarot and oracle cards. I'm a little bit of a hoarder when it comes to divination tools, so I have different decks that have their own symbolism. Aside from decks, I have a couple pendulums that I use when I want some straightforward answers to my questions. I also have my rune stones safe in a bag, waiting for me to continue learning how to read runes (it's a work in progress), and I have a very nice antique looking mirror for when I finally take up scrying

Thirdly, I store my incense sticks, my palo santo, a lighter and candles for when I need a cleansing session. I usually cleanse my crystals, my decks, literally everything, because I'm a little bit paranoid about bad energy sticking to me. Though that's an issue stemming from my mental health rather than actually having something malevolent stick itself to me. I also do most of my spell work at my altar if I can, though I haven't practiced in a while

Lastly, I just have some decoration that fits the vibes you know? I have a small statue figure of Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love, some dried flowers that I definitely don't need to change out shh, and a picture frame of me and my boyfriend hehe

Now, don't get me wrong, even if I practice witchcraft, I'm still a devout Catholic. I'm don't follow Wiccan religion or other pagan beliefs. I usually call upon the saints and angels when I'm asking my tarot, pendulum, etc. my questions, and I use my practice sort of like a meditative prayer/communication with God. So yeah!
