Waaait I was editing tonight and clipping the scene where kitty dies and ramĆ³n's reaction was HURTING me like šš it happens so fast on the show but I'm seeing it frame by frame ya know and his screaming looks so painful like he truly didn't expect that something like that could happen to them and he's so torn up and furious bc he can't control or stop it... I think he's too disconnected to cry and always reacts to any bad things with anger and action (but I think he'd cry if one of his siblings died of course, or hole himself up in his room and drown the pain in drugs š¤·š¼āāļø)
Speaking of, the scene after that is so funny because he's screaming and hitting chairs bc he left pancho behind and dina's just like chill ramĆ³n you did your best he'll be fine šš„± she doesn't even try to hide that she plays favorites with her brothers loll
Yees, I replayed the scene here and it's true, he seems affected by it and I think in that moment he for sure was too disconnected, he was trying to escape those pinches dea agents, plus his brother had just been arrested and you can see how that affects him, I think he takes the responsability of keeping his family safe pretty serious and when he fails he feels incredibly frustrated with himself, but it's possible he felt sad and shed some tears for Kitty later, we don't know, and yeah his instinctive reaction is anger + action, which like I said before, to me seems consistent to how men overall respond emotionally to bad things happening, and it's esp. consistent to RamĆ³n's character since we see he always reacts like that, but he'd for sure cry if he lost someone very close to him, like his siblings. The part you said about holing up (is that how you write?? lool) to his room and doing drugs? OUCH I can so see that and it breaks my heart, it would def. led to a drug addiction nooo :(((((( And that scene is hilarious, I mean, I feel bad for MĆ³n because like I said you can see he was super stressed and hating himself for not being able to do anything to help Pancho, but omg yeees šššDina was so chill like: MĆ³n I know you did your best sweetie, better him than you....djsdjsdjdjsjdsds she so has a favorite brother and she doesn't care to hide it, and it's so cutee! š„°
