what is dark dipper and who made it?

I’m not sure who came up with the theory.

To my knowledge, dark!Dipper is sorta like Bipper? In some way? Except Dipper went with Bill himself instead of being tricked with a fake deal like in Sock Opera.

Like he’s just turned evil. People thought ever since the two made the deal, Dipper would join Bill’s side, especially after Mabel chose Stan over him.

(Sorry if this doesn’t make sense lmao, I suck at explaining things.)

So ... Important Question Time. If Bill could give Stan a bigger dick, does this mean he could give your crescents Dipper one? I recall you mentioning that he was trans, so it makes me wonder if Bill could give him a complete transition.

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and my brain hits me with the strangest headcanons. This time the victim was @ahkaraii‘s evil!Stan.

If it isn't obvious already, I hecking love crescents!Dipper, he's fluffy and amazing. And chompy hands? Hell yes. But I'm curious. Where the inspiration for his design come from?

The idea for the eyes on the palms of Dipper’s hands came from chickylen over on Twitter, only that with their OC, the eye is just a pattern on the skin, whereas with crescents!Dipper, the eyes are real and functional.

The fact that they can turn chompy occurred to me later, when I realized Bill’s eye is also his mouth. I don’t know a lot about Naruto, but it’s hard to not come across many of its characters via fanart or cosplay, and Deidara always interested me with those dang chompy hands of his. There’s something so fascinating about working with a character with mouths in his hands!

The entire rest of his design I have to admit is half born out of self-indulgence and half out of a bit of contrarianism. Older Dipper in fandom is often depicted as well-groomed and styled to a T in this casual, hipster-y way. And that’s fine! But as someone who used to be very antsy and full of anxietiesas a teenager, I wanted to delve more into the less agreeable expressions of these kind of issues, and how they could evolve over time. I wanted to explore self-image struggles like the ones I used to have myself and that I could see Dipper having in any iteration. Not properly taking care of your appearance, neglecting your hygiene, those were all problems I could see Dipper having, especially this version of him.

I absolutely see the appeal of giving older Dipper tats and piercings and all! But just this once, I wanted an older Dipper who is simply too at odds with his body to invest a single ounce of energy into his appearance.

So I did a couple of concept sketches until he turned into this unholy mix of trucker, stoner, nerd and twink, and it’s honestly surprising how well that works!

Also I just really love drawing long shaggy brown hair! <3
