Some armor headcanons:

Shu was Ra's armor. (Worked basically like Ironman suit)

Golden Army's armor is not made out of gold, just looks like it, it's a very firm type of metal unknown to humans. Dark Army's armor is made out of the same material, but with some different components that give it silver colour.

All members of the Council have the same type of the armor Seth has. It's a very first version of protective covering invented by Ra, that's why it's not as automatic as the one the Golden Army has.

I love the idea of Ra building different armors like Ironman. And it has a bit of sense if you think about it. I don´t believe that Ra is as powerful as they make it seem. The guy is probably older than the earth itself so I don´t want to know what kind of back problems he has...

The mystery metal sounds a bit like the Vibranium from Wakanda XD. But I still like the idea.

That´s what I thought when I saw Seth´s armor the first time I saw it, and I believe the same for the rest of the council. Except for Bes, I wanna think that he has a giant mecha!
