I’m doing this story about a babysitter who is being terrorized by the children and they are trying to kill her. I’m trying to write it as the kids are making a game out of trying to kill her. What would be the rules? How would the game be like? You have any other ideas? Thank you!

Right, this sounds like one of those asks where I'm going to have to preface with WE ARE WRITERS AND THIS IS FOR FICTIONAL PURPOSES...I swear we’re not psychopaths...

I’m not sure if you’re taking this in a comedic way or strictly horror, I can totally see it either way. Anyway here are some ideas:

No sabotage. Maybe the kids are competing against each other or in teams so they make a rule that there’s no sabotage and no hurting each other.

If you’re going comedic what if the babysitter is totally oblivious? Like one of the kids throws a knife at her back but misses and knocks over a plant and the babysitter is just like, “Ugh, this is why I hate cats, they get into everything.” They don't have a cat.

The kids make it a rule that everything they try could be blamed on a ghost because they know the babysitter is terrified of ghosts and they don't want to get into trouble. 

Maybe they’re old pros at this so they set some tougher rules to make it harder. Like they can't use any weapons, they’re only going to communicate with each other in pig latin to plan, they’re going to get it done in under an hour this time, they’re going to do it while also playing The Floor is Lava, bonus points if they make it look like an accident

Every kid gets to veto one idea. Could be because an idea sound stupid. Could be because they really hate the smell of shrimp even though the babysitter is allergic and it would be really easy.

After years searching for the incantation, gathering all the ingredients, and preparing myself for the  physical impact, I summoned the wrong demon. He’s still willing to help, though not the way I pictured.

Context is everything. Each little tidbit could mean a hundred different things depending on what you do with it. Have fun!

Katherine's life has been a mix of bad and then great things happening. It started with her mother dying during childbirth and her father decided to give her and her twin up for adoption, then they were adopted by two very famous parents who were able to give them almost anything they desired. Her parents started her and her sister in show business at the tender age of 9 months old. Katherine loved being in front of the camera, and as an adorable toddler and young child on a popular family sitcom, Katherine stole the hearts of America. Then the show ended and Katherine had to find new jobs and auditioning. Katherine and her sister worked on and off over the next several years... and then two things happened puberty and her families reality show. It did not take her long to start partying and causing trouble, by the time she was 19 she had lost the momentum in her career and was just famous because of her crazy antics.

Katherine is now older and wiser (25) and looking to make an actual career, but with co-stars who can’t look past her troubled past and America waiting for her to fail Katherine has no idea how she is going to change their minds... and finding out she is pregnant is not going to help the matter at all.

A friend of mine told me to watch this video this morning. Right before this, I also read an article about how HIMYM has had the ability to be funny but also, pretty risky. And sometimes, it does border off the lines of a dark comedy. But that's one thing I've grown to love about it. You can laugh at the puns and crazy tactics, but other times you are taken aback but how real the events and emotions are. I have thought to myself more than once "I have done that before" or "I wonder.." HIMYM goes there. And I love them for it.
