Don’t even get me started on the “You following me?” Parallel to 7x09 I can’t even daaaaamn the PD writers know what they’re doing - and when they say slow burn they mean the slowest thing possible - but with great results 😅 ⬆️ So I’ll take these crumbs LOL
I wanna cry I wanna cry I wanna cry ⬆️ look at them looking at each other like 🥺
I love a protective husband. Jay just wants to make sure Hailey doesn’t go off the deep end. Especially after what happened to him, you’d think she’d take that into consideration. But, maybe that’s what made her want to push the limit, because if she wants to bury those feelings, then what better way to not focus on someone else’s past than to focus on making your own impulsive decisions? (I’m being slightly sarcastic here, but I hope y’all get what I’m saying. Hailey doesn’t want to be reminded of the “20 different times she’s told Jay to not get too close,” because then that would drudge up her feelings again. And since she didn’t get to tell Jay at the hospital, she’s probably given up on finding a “right time” to tell him, at least for the time being. And in this episode — 7x12, Hailey was so focused on her own personal vengeance that she kind of had blinders on. She’s just as stubborn as Jay is, so it’s interesting to see the role reversal of Jay being the one to try & talk Hailey down. ⬆️
