"She only meant to find her way back to the dining room without waking Narcissa. Instead, she found Draco, and his mouth, in the hallway."

MASTERLIST
Those low-heeled shoes were noisy and immensely uncomfortable.
As soon as she realized she’d been walking around aimlessly, she slipped them off quickly, trying to find her way back to the dining room without waking Narcissa.
“Lavinia!” she heard someone call, and looking up, saw Draco coming toward her from the stairs.
“I know, I know, I ended up on the wrong side of the hou...” she began to say, but before she could pass him, she felt herself pulled by the waist, and for the second time, the heat of Draco’s lips pressed against hers.
She froze, standing on tiptoe and curling her shoulders in surprise.
Then everything happened quickly.
She let go of the shoes and grabbed Draco by the shirt, biting his lip.
It was hard to say whether she pulled Draco toward the wall or he slammed her back against it with his full weight.
Lavinia only knew that suddenly, even breathing was difficult.
And she no longer minded the contact when, burning hot, she felt Draco’s hands on her thighs, above and below the dress, and in her hair and on her neck.
“I do need to breathe ato some point, Draco” she gasped, tugging at his hair to catch her breath.
Draco stole another soft kiss, then cradled her face in his hands, resting his forehead against hers.
“Sleep with me tonight. I want you” he murmured, breathless, and Lavinia felt her heart beat through her ribs again.
She nodded, eyes closed, soaking in his soft kisses and the unexpected caresses of Draco’s thumb across her cheeks.
“Draco” she said, stopping his hands after a moment.
“You can run if you want” she added, looking up at him. Draco lowered his hands.
“Why the hell would I run?”
“Because I love you” she said blountly never breaking eye contact.
“Doesn’t that scare you?”
Draco shook his head, not caring that blond strands were tickling his lashes.
“No. I think I’ve always known” he replied, never looking away.
“...You know now, don’t you?” he asked, and Lavinia nodded with a faint smirk.
“I mean, you do know that I lo...”
“Yes Draco, I got it. No need.” she cut him off, lowering her gaze, uncomfortable with the romantic turn things had taken.
She made to pull away from the wall, but Draco pushed her back making her sigh.
“I meant it about tonight too” he whispered, biting her neck, and Lavinia bit her lip hard when Draco’s hand briefly slipped between her legs.
A moment later, he stepped back, amused by the flush on her cheeks again, and the very clear reaction he’d felt on his fingers.
“One comment, and I’ll send you where the war didn’t” she muttered, as he picked her shoes up from the floor.
